im having A LOT of trouble with makoto as well as ibuki.
ive played the matchup patiently and very well throughout the match and then near the end of the game, i get grabbed once and i lose the game.
the next game, i try to guess and avoid being grabbed after a tick, she smacks me in the face + sa2 = 100% stun + taunt + jump in combo = gameover.
and her big ass feet keeps smacking me in the face and stopping me from jumping away. its VERY frustrating dealing with this cheap char.
with ryu, building meter is key imo, be aware of the all the tick throws she has so you can look out for them, there are a few people that i’ve been playing with i most of the time play sa1 against on the grounds that i’m pretty predictable with my throw set ups and after you learn that just build some bar and go balls out
no way im switching to chun. shes so boring to play with.
sometimes i attack air-to-air. im guessing thats pretty helpful watching some ryu vids but her moves come out really fast so she hits me first. i try to parry sometimes but her axe kick from the air is delayed a second so i always get hit by it.
i have to learn to parry them.
