I’m a beginner looking for tips on spacing, combos, timing, missed opportunities, bad habits etc…

stop mashing moves.
actually watch what your opponent is doing and counter.
learn how to punish strong. FHP > EX JOUDAN > HP SRK
just watch ryu videos and analyze.

so my fireball frenzy disorder is finally solved. im doing jab feints before throwing them. this triggers my brain to react faster.

on chun, i came up with something nobody has thought of. throwing large “risky” blockstrings before she has any meter. this builds at least 30%denjin meter on block. on hit, it builds 40-50% meter.

i came up with a mashing technique kuroda pulls off. similar to that when you input SRK/super on wakeup but it is stuffed by a short. the SRK/super comes out immediately after.

about the previous 2 denjin setups i thought of, i havent came up with a beneficial sole purpose at the moment. will further test it later on for a specific situation that works.

super jump tatsu is so damn awesome.

and last, the people’s elbow is the best finisher of all time.

need more mixups, dash back/dash up throws,

more nooby unorthodox moves that somehow works well.

more dash up low strongs and more random tatsus.

Contrary to what everyone says, there are impossible to parry denjin setups. Guaranteed hit no matter what you do. I am still not 100% certain if this is accurate. So far I’m 95% confident.

Will further explain in detail sometime later.

i found a denjin escape for urien that nullifies ryus super forever.

Well whether it worked or not, been cheating it with L1 3Punch for Denjin mash. Maybe it even makes me release early when that happens sometimes.

LOL i actually thought about using EX’s for denjin mash but havent tested it yet.

i absolutely CANNOT stand playing without my EX’s set to L1 & L2.

instead of ticking my little pinky to the side, now i have to move multiple fingers awkwardly for kicks and punches. SIGH…

even then, it fails so often. its miserable. i wish arcade 3s actually had L1 & L2. sad face

I gave up 3 Kick On L2 at least.

It is a crutch and mostly was used on accident from a bad grip, something tense in the match.

3 Punch stays at least for online from, EX not coming out, lost chance for EX hado, use it next time -that is right away- to test if it’s still registering. Guarantee the next EX Hadou comes out.

Claw hand Right side for me, getting closer to Arcade stick buttons. 2 fingers above the 4 face buttons, possibly good on 4 button games…

EX hurricane used less with Denjin chosen so no macro anymore even if it can keep me from no hit, cr MK to LK tatsu and die. Maybe exchange LK Tatsu for EX to stay in place & hold my ground, still bad recovery but they have to Super/Special/use the right range normal to come get me which they might not be prepared for. A different look than just one tatsu rotation landing in their >big punish ready< lap.

And cr MK EX tatsu should combo vaccuum them in. With LK tatsu, only a standing person who got hit low will get combo’d and then hopefully get that Denjin out over their knockdown

Then they don’t tech roll, or its a slow wakeup and your Denjin just comes out way too early flying over them. That’s just the worst.

Did have something interesting enough. Better go back and put that video up to check out, even if its youtube low low quality. It was an Anti Air Denjin + Extra hit before they land to be Dizzied. I didn’t even jump in for the 3 hit combo even though I had all that time and did a weaker punish than HPxHP SRK. I guess its a Corner push, from the Tatsu though!
