You time your jump(easiest off sweep, just jump right away) in a way that you’ll hit them on the 1st frame they get up. This timing makes it so that if they use a slow reversal, you’ll be able to land and block it before it’s able to hit you.

You hit them on the last frame before you land, not the 1st frame they get up. You can easily hit them on the 1st frame they get up and it still won’t be a safe jump.
