Logitech Gamepad F310.
I only bought it to play SSF4 (don’t play any other games with it) so I don’t think it’s a particularly expensive/good gamepad, but I haven’t checked out the market all too much.
ok. I use PS3 pad and use the analog stick lol! its all good
Wow you use the stick? I’ve gotta try that and see how it feels! I think I will get used to it though, I’ve never played all that much console in my life before (only had N64 and later Gamecube when I was younger) so I think I’m a bit uncomfortable with any gamepad until I’ve played a bit more.
yeah its more comfortable, although I learnt it because my direction was broken and painful to use during 3s so I had to be “economical” and used the analog stick, you may have issues with dashing but you will get used to it. so what is your internet connection like
Awesome stuff, definately gonna try it out. I have ~12Mbit/s down and 0.8Mbit/s up.
If you like buttons perhaps have a look at Hit Boxes? Also, try to play without jumping a lot. Forces improvement pretty fast
Wow those seem pretty dang interesting, deffinately something to think about. And yeah I’m trying not to jump in except on knockdowns and even then I’m scared tbh.
Sweep=>hold up forward is safe on basically anyone without a DP (Ryu, Ken, Oni, Akuma, Evil Ryu), so don’t be too afraid. It’s simple and foolproof.
Ok thanks I’ll try that I actually didn’t know the timing worked if you just held up forward right after sweep, so thanks
That setup doesnt work on Blanka, Adon and Hakan
That setup doesnt work on Blanka, Adon and Hakan
Or Cammy, Sagat. They get up 1f later. It does work on Adon BTW. His wakeup is back to normal now.
okey dokey
- How do I safejump?
- Is it possible to do HP Shoryu into Super?
instant jump after a sweep is a general safejump for xaracters except blanka and hakan
yes its possible
what are the main differences between c.LP and c.LK. What should I take into account to choose one over the other?
cLP: more pushback, less range, can be blocked high and low, starts up in 3 frames, more frame advantage on block, links to cMP and cMK, cHP and sweep, better hitbox
cLK: less pushback, more range, must be blocked low, starts up in 4 frames (I think), less frame advantage on block, doesn’t link to any of the above, smaller hitbox
In addtion, cr.lp does 30 damage, cr.lk does 20. You would use cr.lk as a starter for a low hit-confirm to force the opponent to block low. And you can mix it up in blockstrings to punish opponents who try to jump or throw you out of pressure.
Is cr.LK chained into itself a frame trap ? There’s been many a time when Ive decided to cr.lk them deep on block and when they have crouch teched they’ve been hit by the 3rd and 4th hit. Or maybe they weren’t blocking ?
How does one ‘perfect’ linking all combos? I mean i’ve been practicing that solar plexus into fierce and still cant get it more than 60 % of the time… how daigo does this 99% of the time is beyond me lol
How do you do Ryu fireball spacing? like how do i fireball the opponent and srk as soon as he jumps? sometimes i hadoken and the guy jumps i cant shoryuken in time
Thanks
