yeah that’s chun only combo. i think i’ve seen it work on dhalsim but i’m not sure.

I pulled that link off on two Chun’s today, and both of them sent me messages.
I made a mistake, you can fadc st.mp into cr.mp.
but i couldn t made more than an ultra conbo using this( cr.mp st.mpfadc cr.mp st.hp shoryu was something like 370 domage)
I still think that most domaging combo with 2 ex is sls cr.hp shoryu fadc ultra or ex tatsu fadc ultra depending if you are in the corner or no.
i m going to try if sls stmp fadc cr.mp cr.mp cr.mk tatsu work.
it might be the best combo with 2 ex without ultra.

tried some combo, with st.mp after sls max combo is 396 dommage using 2 ex
but sls st.mk hado fadc cr.hp shoryu do 412 so can t find any combo with st.mp that do more dommage than combo including ultra.
That combo works on the following characters:
Chun Li
El Fuerte
Gouken
Blanka

and personally i wouldn’t do standing mp after solar plexus just to fadc it, c…mp is a much better option as you can connect to either another c.mp or c.mk (some characters can be punished using 2 c.mps before c.mk refer to above postings) or you can go with c.hp and follow up with hp srk (deals 382 damage when starts without fa lv3, didn’t test with fa lv3) and if you want to fadc you might as well do the last bit with hadou instead of srk and then fadc it and follow up with another combo
yeah me neither MNO. good info. 
that combo builds hella meter too and super is so crucial for blanka.
plus against blanka, you have some FA opportunities like after his ultra you can lvl 2 or if you FA his punch long sweep.
very usefull. i don t know why but for me the cr.mk is the most difficult part of this combo…

I was wondering under what scenario does Ryu’s shoryuken have a weird hitbox?
And what I mean by that;
Incidentally, I was playing casuals against a Balrog friend of mine. I’m trying to recall exactly what I did, because it wasn’t like I was planning on doing that. I seen an opening and just starting string stuff together.
IIRC I strung together j.mK, short, jab, jab, shoryuken, which for some reason launched and then I went straight into Ultra. The combo had 13 hits I believe.
If there are any transgressions there(Since I’m going off of memory) or can anyone tell me what happened?
FADC>Ultra is easy enough, but if I can save meter I will.
when you do the shoryuken to ultra did you use fadc? or without? i don’t think it’s possible to do ultra after shoryuken when you hit them on the ground without fadc.
if you are referring to the shoryuken after jab, jab, it is possible yes and it is used by many regularly. but its different from the cancel like just 1 jab then cancel to shoryuken. it is a link so basically your jabs hits your opponent that puts them on the stun mode for a few frames before they can block and when timed right shoryuken comes out before they can block it but it is not cancelled.

Yes it was going towards the corner. Not directly in the corner, but about a little less than half a length from the corner. I could just about see the corner

Yeah I definitely did a Shoryu after jab jab, except the Shoryu launched his boxer up in the air a little higher than normal which I immediately noted, and on a whim I did Ultra and it ended up landing. The entire thing comboed for 13 hits. I know that it started with a J.mK and definitely ended with jab, jab, DP.
I didn’t know that jab, jab, DP was a link. Usually I only use one jab, though I have practiced jab, jab, DP in practice mode before just going off of what I’ve seen.
I didn’t know what happened. The way my boxer buddy explained it, was weird hit boxes on the Shoryu, knocking boxer up a little higher than usual, which was obvious, but I need a little more explanation than that. Me and some other friends that were in the party were also trying to break down what happened and nobody could come to a solid conclusion.
going to test it tonight but there is a possible explanation i can give but not sure if this is true or not as i have yet to test it so i think this is what happened (i’m not monk :P)
when you do the combo then lp shoryuken, lp shoryuken doesn’t hit at the start but hits on the way to up (70 damage) so basically you have less time landing but rog is on the start or getting to the air, so you can do ultra as you land and rog will get hit by it 
it’s hard to explain but like c.lk, c.lp, c.hp, srk only works on specific characters and against some characters the shoryuken will not hit at the start so my guess this is the same case
i will test it tonight and hopefully this work so that i can start woopping some rog lol and send them pm, yeah i can do special to ultra without fadc

Okay well I was just playing a session with some friends and here’s the deal.
On wakeup if you time a light Shoryu just right you can go into Ultra from there(Which I didn’t know at the time)
That may have had something to do with it. However we couldn’t figure out how I comboed into it. Its pretty frustrating to be honest, because we couldn’t exactly pinpoint anything.
