random ryu vs ryu stuff:

i knew that if you get HIT by a c.fierce (they mess up the dp or something), you can ultra them back.

but i didn’t know if they whiff a c.rh, you can also ultra them back on reaction. ahhahaha

btw, c.rh range is longer than c.forward slightly it seems. i thought sf2 and sf4 had c.forward range > c.rh range but i guess not.

yes cr.rh is the longer of all ryu move ( except may be sls but this one is much slower)

you can also punish cr.hk with ultra if you are really close.

even at not max range you can t punish with ultra so be carefull…

it seems not so good to be honest except if somehow they really make the sweep close to you but to be honest i rarelly see that move not done at max range…

you can punish hit with super and if you FA it you can dash and cr.hp or cr.mp into sweep or ex tatsu or even just shoryu fadc ultra. all depend of the range.

if they wiff the sweep doing ultra seems quiet good i will to use this one.

anyone know which ryu’s jumpin attack beats chun li’s c.lk?

situation is : ryu jumpin that will land right next to her, chun li did a c.lk just as you are about to land

jumping hard punch should beat it. or the jumping low kick.

I think it s most domaging combo with ryu :

Ultra ( double contact oponement in the corner make you recorver faster)
dash hp shoryu
super

13 hit 689 domage

not really practical, but who knows…

i dont think its worth that at all.

it s an exibition combo not a practical combo…

situation might happen 1 time in 1000 fight may be.

but if if happen, a 689 domage combo, how can it not be worth it?

about lk or hp, do it a little bit late, when you are touching a crouched opponment

How do you do these combos?

Super Combo’s:
c.mk, hp shoryuken, super: 470D (500D if c.hp is used instead).
f+hp, hp shoryuken, super: 520D.

Ryu lands from the DP at the same time as my opponent lands, so the super whiffs. What am I doing wrong?

if i had to call something a b+b it’d just be c.mk xx hadoken. Both of those are valid combos, no need to give time to deciding which one gets an arbitrary label.

cancel the SRK into super, don’t wait until you land. Input SRK, QCF+P very quickly.

Stop jumping in. Stand in Chun’s face but out of her low roundhouse range and play footsies, bait hazanshus and punish her longer pokes or kikos with jumpins.

They’re super cancels. Do it like Siyko said and the super will cancel the shoruken before you leave the ground and hit the opponent on their way up.

the only special moves that ryu cannot cancel to super is tatsu, hadou can be cancelled too
