or there should be an option in the game to change the special moves to whatever commands you want (as long as its a special command in the game already)

Ryu is imo one of the most balanced characters in the game him and Akuma have no bad matchups but only a few advantageous ones. Really i think dp trade and EX hurricane>Ultra in corner need to go away but otherwise he doesn’t have any BS.

Or better yet…give me a checkbox list of all characters…The checked characters are the ones that will be filtered based on the player’s most used character. Seriously I get Ryu players 50% of the time online and I am soooo sick of it.
Ryu has no bad matchups except Sagat. He doesn’t need anything, Sagat just needs a nerf. End of story.
Except they will change him. I predict he will get Shin Shoryuken and maybe the Jodan kick.

I think Sagat has Ryu 5.5 to 4.5. I think it is a slight advantage. I seriously believe they are not totally even. very slight advantage to Sagat.
Sagat has a little reach advantage over him but that is not the only reason. It is not that big of a deal though. You might as well say it is even.
IMO the slight advantage factors in Sagat’s health and his superior dmg output.
I went into this thread thinking that there had been some new SSF4 footage and that people were dissecting it to find out what’s new about Ryu.

It’s 5/5 really to the edge to whoever has a more intricate knowledge of the fireball game. : / Sagat shouldn’t ever have the options of Uppercutting ryu as ryu shouldn’t ever be jumping … Only time i get hit by uppercut is when people throw feint that shit ugh … make sagat a nightmare.
i hope to the lord he doesnt get a 3rd fireball. i think he needs a version of the shin sho ryu ken as if he is still learning it. maybe like alpha 3 with the dash elbow into the sho ryu ken. or hell since he has the metsu hadouken give him the metsu sho ryu ken the ripped sagats chest. forgot to mention that he needs his hop kick back or the 3rd strike side kick. ryu lost alot of his savy with his movements on those kicks in sf4 cause they werent in the game.
sagat doesnt have footsies like ryu does, also ultra set ups. the only differnece imo sagats normals, reach(like you said) his damage and health.
