Instead of 15 ways to combo or juggle into ultra lets make it 50! While we are at it he ONLY has 4 normals that have 3 frame start up…that’s WAY too few all of his moves need 3 frame start up! All of his SRKs should be safe on block and hit full screen as well.

Ryu is already really well balanced and doesn tneed many changes. EX tatsu glitch needs to be sorted, and IMO the invcincibility on lp and mp SRKs should be the same as the FP version as its bullshit that it trades. Other than that, nothing… oh, and make his second ultra the metsu SRK.

ur feet touch ground, you can block (sounds like ST ken). where as the other shotos have a huge punishment window.
lol and skills to fadc juggle… maybe skillful if u play with 1 hand, but i feel like i have almost too much time to get my ultra out after i FADC.

In my time playing and watching and watching and playing SF4 I’ve come to find it quite a bit more balanced than most games.
To even think Ryu needs more than his EX Tatsu glitch fixed is asking for too much of an improvement.
Leave him alone, let him have his second ultra, and be happy about it.

i would nerf his priority on jumping hk and no ultra after traded srk…thats pretty much it, he is perfectly fine
I think Ryu is one of the only characters that shouldn’t be touched.
No he is not cheap, nor is he worthless, he’s almost perfect. The only change I’d agree with is #2 on your list because you’re right, it’s annoying when hits trade yet you pulled off the SRK first.
Whatever his new Ultra is going to be (My guess is Shin SRK) is going to change his game a little bit anyways.
I want it so that when someone gets caught in the air with a shoryuken, for them not to be in a juggle state. In short, AA SRK not to lead to an ultra. He has other ways to set-up his ultra. He has like 4 including the AA SRK.
Well true he has a lot of set ups but I’m grateful that he had that particular one … It’s the sole thing that taught me to not gamble with jump ins.
That being said, I think the developer’s reasoning behind it is … If EX hadoken connects, then Super and/or Ultra should too.
FIX:
1:Ex.Tatsu drop glitch
NERF:
1: auto correcting DPs (seriously why even try to cross over)
2: DP is either hits or snuffed (gets rid of trade to ultra while keeping DPs strong)
The best way to fix Ryu is to remove his cheap ass from the game.

But back to the topic…I’d give Ryu his mule kick move from Street Fighter 3.
His other Ultra obviously should be the Shin Shoryken.
gouken already has the shin shoryuken… and the ex tatsu glitch needs to go… to the person that said thats even to much to fix, your not smart seriously. people being able to walk to out his tatsu is RETARDED. chun can just walk out of it. same with ken as well.
