ryu should get a tripple hit srk and an ex 7 hit srk like seth and also his ultra should be unblockable
I agree with SRK having less recovery, but I think they should probably just go ahead and make it so that you get a frame advantage on block. It’s a pretty commonly used move, so I don’t see why not. Needing two meter to land ultra is stupid as well. Boxer can headbutt into ultra, so if the opponent could fly a little higher into the air from an SRK, we could land ultra off that with no meter.
Also, it should be invincible the entire way up. It was like that in SF2, so I don’t see why they had to change it.
You’re right about sweep needing to be faster, but it needs to be able to be cancelled like it was in SF2 and Alpha as well.
Tatsu needs to connect to crouching opponents and give a frame advantage on block.
And why does Ryu need meter for red fireballs when he didn’t in SF2? Change them to a hcf motion and make it so that they don’t take meter.

What Ryu needs is to uppercut this thread into the garbage can.
No matter how well balanced a character is, if hes getting a new Ultra, which will happen to all of them, his gameplay will change one way or another.
You know his new ULTRA is going to just be an even BIGGER fireball, to moreso prove that it’s STILL very easy to combo into.
ryu needs to be as fast as fei long. His ultra should definitely be unblockable, also shoryukens should come out automagically when you hit jab and connect from further away, like Rufus’ ducking fierce range. he should be able to combo into ultra off of jab, and it should do about 80% AT LEAST! C’mon i can hardly win as it is! I just want to be able to do mad srks and ultra for free, i cant fadc so just maek it so i can do it off of jab or something else that i press really fast all the time. kthx capcom!

I second that. lol. The only hope most of us have vs Ryu is punishing his shoryu, hadou, and hard sweep. I find it funny that people think they need better recovery.

Ryu is the most solid dude in the damn game. He doesn’t need anything. Hell, he probably doesn’t even need whatever second ultra they’re gonna give him. He’s not just good. He’s on the higher end of good. If you still lose with Ryu, it’s not because Ryu isn’t balanced… It’s because you just played someone better than you.
Hes fine if anything I say make his HP SRK do less damage.

Rufus’s ducking fierce range wouldn’t be enough. Its hitboxes should be arranged in a way that resembles Rufus doing his c.HP, Dhalsim doing his j.MP, and Sagat doing his f.HK at the same time.
Less recovery on srk? Are you people retarded? The recovery is faster than any other in the game. People who need less of a recovery are Gouken with his tatsu (which is like 5 years), Vega flip, Rose, and more but Ryu? Give me a break.
