Get rid of Ultra after trade AAs, I main Ryu and it’s BS.
Fix EX tatsu whiffing the knockdown hit
Extend fierce DPs hitbox upwards to stop it trading so much vertically. Seriously, it’s a dragonpunch, it shouldn’t be trading with j.RHs/Sagats j.MP elbow etc. Yes you can hit deep using the first invincible frame but the timing is pretty strict (<3f I reckon) and it shouldn’t have to be, it should beat any jump normals from directly below. Hit it a frame early and you get 70pts damage and a trade, a frame later and you get the full 160 and a clean hit. Ryu’s DP looks really ‘vertical’ but it’s actually a pretty crappy vertical AA and the hitboxes are much better suited at horizontal protection.
Extend s.RH hitbox outwards a little, if you’re jumping in at Ryu at such a long range I think it should be easily punishable.
Really? You want to give him a better anti-air to make safe jumps more difficult against him? Anyone with a DP shouldn’t have charge character quality normals.

3.ultra really should even do that much damage it only do about no more then 25% damage since it technically not a finisher.

6. making his fireball stronger would be wack considering its the fastest fireball next to sagats an can be spam unlike kens

8. if they do that then why have a lp or mp at all hp has more prioirity cuz it his strong punch so wat ever special he uses with it is obviously gonna be better
9. if they were to upgrade him they should leave everything about him now the same an just add his power kick (half circle foward kick from street fighter 3 third strike)

I don’t think Ryu needs any rebalacing issues aside from the El Fuerte match up (Maybe I just don’t know the matchup well enough). It seems once you’re knocked down you can’t get up because of random crossover body slams/slides. Then again, I do not know the match up all too well. Any pro el fuerte players wanna train with me?? Also I really do not know how to balance the game all too well. The problem with rebalancing is that it can completely change tierlists at high level of play. For example, a high tier guile player will have a 30 to 40 percent chance of beating a high tier Ryu player. BUT, it if we were to give him faster recovery from fireballs (almost FADC speed), then he would be unstoppable. The problem is his other matches that he is good against will be upped by many scales. So for example (and this isn’t necessarily true, but just to make a point) if there is a 6/4 matchup for Guile before (and it was due to his normals), with a huge improvement in fireball recovery could make the matchup 7/3 for Guile, maybe even 8/2 since his jab fireball is already good from full screen. That is the main problem. I think they should leave it as it is. Come to think about it, the random cross ups are all El Fuerte really has. I have seen some high level of gameplay from each character and I really don’t see the 7/3 matchup for anyone. It’s a lot like MMA: Each fighter has a different fighting game.
