I have been working on a sketch today which will eventually go on my SE Stick, Im wanting to have Ryu and Sagat fighting so been doing a few doodles.
Here is what I have so far, im going to be colouring it in the same way as the capcom art so it may look totally different in the end lol. Im looking for crits or any possible ideas to go into it, I feel it isnt dynamic enough at the mo, i think this is my lack of being able to draw in perspective… any hoo any help will be great :wgrin:

i think if you make the punch seem after the moment it is in now it will add action feel.
like ryu is further up and arching away from sagat and sagat is like ‘ow’ with his chin up.
Thanks guys, how does my style resemble yours mr list, would you mind pointing me to a few links, will be interesting to see your stuff too 
I will position ryu a bit more and give it some basic colouring tonight to see if it will fit together but im still not sure if I like it yet.

Do you want Ryu to be whiffing the SRK? That’s what’s happening. I agree with whoever that Sagat should be knocked back some… maybe not even seeing his face just the underside of his neck and chin.
Also, they need longer necks. You have the neck muscles and everything but the neck itself is non existent. The torsos look pretty good otherwise.
Hey Jason, thanks for the crit, think Im going to go with what you have said and redraw sagat as if he has also been “chinned” by ryu!
I decided to give it a bit more of a go and have been toying with some colours on ryu, I have started changing the face so it resembles more the SFIV ryu, ie the eyes and shape of the chin.
Shading has only had about half an hour but will update when I progress more!
