Oh, I see. From what I take of it, was she made just so they could have an androgynous character? She doesn’t seem very interesting, backstory-wise.
I keep hearin all these fans for Q but growing up in an arcade I never saw any Q players. Even now when people have all the time in the world to play him you see more Hugo’s and Oro’s than you do Q’s.
Even Citizen doesn’t main Q, I’m not calling anyone out but if has all these fans why do none of them play him? I bring this up because I have a friend that does this and it annoys me to no end. He plays Sean and Chun and Remy but won’t stop whining aabout Q. Like it’s cool to do or something? I wish all the Q fans got together and made a petition or stopped crying. Either one.
I digress, so is Balrogs blows gonna have armor or wall or ground bounce in EX? Or is it going to be a move by move basis?
I hope you’re not implying that story is the reason they’re putting character in the game.
Leo has an interesting style, kinda reminiscent of Juls/Wang, but unique nonetheless.
I dont know much of Leo’s story. All I know is that his…HER playstyle is awesome and is one of my alt mains

Leo might not be in because having a trap and a reverse trap in the same game just might be too much for the internet… or at least 4chan.
While he has a low chance because hes simply just a badass version of random select, he also has no real partners…
He has himself as a female, Tetsujin who is him but metal, or Combot who is him but a robot…
However, Mokujin gets awakened by evil forces. So maybe he could team with a Tekken character who also fights evil or is neutral, but doesnt have a partner?
I’d rather see Alex/Remy. Maybe they made up after their rival fight. Really would like these two in this game tho.
I’m seein Bison with Juri, and I’m guessing Rog and Vega are getting revealed on a team soon.
Nah, I’m just speaking from a character standpoint. I actually have no idea what her playstyle is like. I shouldn’t have worded it that way.
Also, the Tekken Wiki states that they wanted to make a character “that would be loveed regardless of gender.” That’s where my question comes from.
If Leo gets in, I hope they keep her attack names in Chinese, especially if they go the extra mile and add the tones. I find speaking different languages fun.
Q is great because he is so weird, he’s this tall, clumsy, robot. His animation in 3s is amazing. I mean, all of 3s animation is godlike, but his especially. Just from the way he hits, there is so much personality. He never says anything except “I am…abomination” but just from his moveset…you know everything about him. Out of all the weird characters in 3S, he’s the best and speaks his entire story through animation. A good Q player (…kuroda) is also fascinating to watch. He’s also mysterious, and everyone loves a good mystery.
Now why doesn’t anybody use him? Because he’s terrible…dudes god awful. Just…bad. He has like, 1 good button. We’re talking about a guy that with one hit, or one grab can potentially go up to 2000+ health, and even then…still has a bunch of 2-8s and even 1 or 2 1-9s. I mean to put it in perspective, imagine balrog without his frame traps, worse dash punches across the board, all of his normals being considerably slower, and without a decent reversal or way around zoning and you have an idea of what you’re getting into with Q. Oh…but he does have a command throw that starts up in like…13 frames.
I main Hakan in AE, as you probably know, who many consider to be the worst character in the game, and he certainly takes a whole bunch of work…but even I am not masochistic enough to try and make Q work. There have been a few that have done it…Kuroda comes to mind, but I’m definitely not good enough for that.
I would LOVE to see Q back, but it’ll never happen, I know that. Not even because of how unpopular he is in the game, but because the guy would take a lot of work to make good.
So, do we have a consensus for the new teasers?

And Balrog.
I hope Leo doesn’t make it in this game. I play her a bit in Tekken 6, the character is cool and all, but among the “Chinese Martial Artists”, she’s got the most uninspired moveset of all.
I personally think its Juri, Vega and Bryan Fury, and Balrog and some Tekken character.

Its the trench coat. Apparently its a new trendy brooding thing to wear these days.
Check out the scarred arms in the trailer with Mecha Gief. They even have a characters trademark X scar…only character I can think of is Bryan. And its almost consensus that Vega is getting revealed in that one, (his shoe in a Sf x T stage) and we saw a lot of Balrog hints in the other trailer and that would be his most likely partner. I say the white sleeve is a tekken character because Bryan would need someone to partner with. Juri is left by herself because her partner, Bison or Seth, will come later.
Hmm, I just meant it seems like we haven’t come to a unanimous decision like with the other teasers. I’ve seen a lot of different theories. Oh well, we’ll get it.
