Looking at Rolento and Heihachi’s official art, than looking at the Gamescom trailer of old, I’m pretty sure there was nothing hidden in Ibuki and Kuma’s water splashes.

I was really excited for this game mostly for the SF side getting new characters. Hugo, Poison and Rolento is unbelievably awesome, but I feel like from here on out the SF side is gonna come from SFIV again.
Oracle basically confirmed the original 12, and Dan.
Mika, Karin, Alex, Sodom have basically been disconfirmed.
I don’t see what non-SFIV characters they will use besides Sean…
Zangief/Rufus, Blanka/Dan, Sakura/Sean, Boxer/Claw, Honda?, Dictator? And that could be it…

You could be right. The World Warrior cast will most likely show up. Hoping not everyone, so non SF2/SF4 characters can get in. The Alpha series and Third Strike got plenty of fresh guys.
Honda can form a team with El Fuerte, Hakan or Sodom (the last one not so much, now he has a cameo in the Final Fight stage). Bison with Balrog, Vega or Juri (unless Ono’s tweet means that Juri is not that wanted). But Vega/Balrog is possible, if Juri (or maybe even Seth?!) teams up with Bison.
And not forgetting Cody and Guy’s appearance in the Poison/Hugo/Marduk/King trailer…
God dammit, I really wanted Karin.
At least the “disconfirmed” characters should get a cameo like Yun, Yang, Haggar and Sodom. Alex (Third Strike one) on a billboard in the distance is kinda meh, put him on the big ones like the construction workers are pulling up in the skater stage, or give him a model! 
Oh yeah, Cody and Guy. Well I’m glad it wasn’t Oracle who mentioned the Dan/Blanka team. I was happy when Ono said Dan had ‘died’. I really want as many fresh SF characters as possible. I’ll be extra happy if Honda didn’t make it in too

Mika will likely be in the the inevitable (Arcade Edition please) update. Partnered either with Karin, or heaven forbid, Fuerte.
Makes sense. It’d probably convince some people to buy the update with those 2 as the main selling point, but I’m sure most of us would buy an AE regardless.
if it HAS to be the original 12 (bleurgh!), then I would guess this, Blanka/Dan, E.Honda/Hakan?, Balrog/M.Bison or Vega/M.Bison then Vega/Rose (not a dumb pairing as u might think) or Balrog/Anyone (he can be with anyone as long as he is paid enough).
What do people have agaisnt El Fuerte? He is solid character.

Its weird. I know Akuma is going to be in but I cant think of any way they could justify him having a partner. Maybe certain characters dont have them. Cole doesnt have one either right?
The dev team according to Ono said that they didn’t want Dan in this game.
If your going to set some omgwtf TWEEST you don’t intentionally ruin it like that. So no not really anyone… Well maybe except the folks over at EH.
