It’s not any more far-fetched than BobXJulia. I can’t think of a reason why they’d be together though. Some rumors said Rufus and Alex would be partners as they’re both looking for Ken and Ryu respectively, but with Alex out, looks like no. I could sorrrttta see Rufus/Sean, since Sean trained under Rufus and Rufus would want to use Sean to get to Ken, but doubtful Sean is in (though I’d love him to be.)
I personally have accepted that Rufus is Zangief’s partner (maybe big guys like to stick together?) already, though. If I am proven wrong and Rainbow Mika makers her glorious appearance, I will gladly accept my incorrect assumption.
I never said Karin didn’t deserve to be in, and never claimed you were a Karin fanboy. I actually said I liked Karin and wished that she was in, but alas, she’s probably not.
Maybe Zangief thinks Rufus is too fat and wants him to work out more in this story XD
And Rufus thinks Zangief is Ken.
I just think HigherTomorrow is trying to stress that it’s better to assume Karin isn’t in rather than assume she’s in like many of us did when the game was first announced. No harm in hoping she’s in though.

I’m going to be honest, I can see it happening. It’d be silly to think that there wouldn’t be two jokey characters to show up as poster boys for each company, plus, if Lupinko’s to be believed, they’re the only team I can think of that was “revealed” but no one even noticed. Unless he’s talking about Cody and Guy.

Personally, I think it’d be hilarious, but something tells me they’re going to play like Toro and Kuro, which is basically just swapped movesets of Ryu and Kazuya (or other characters)
I don’t see that happening…It’d be pretty nice to have a DarkStalkers team and a Soul Calibur team, though. Morrigan/Demetiri, Killik/Xianguha

Well yes, if he said “Mega man and Pac man is in”, I’d believe him. But not with something this vague.
This game is going to really attract some casual gamers if Mega Man is in. I mean they already have SF and TK characters clashing for the first time, 4 player online, but Mega Man would be the icing on the cake.
Not sure how I’d feel about it though. I bet there’d be a crapload of Mega Man and Pac Man users online.
