Even if Urien is in the game, that wouldn’t happen.
1: The reason Aegis reflector causes unblockables is (I guess) because 3S doesn’t have auto block. In this game, you’d simply have to hold away from Urien and block the first hit and you’d be stuck in a block string.
2: No way his super would be the Aegis Reflector. A common theme in this game seem to be that you can’t combo from your Supers. His Super would probably be Tyrant Slaughter. Maybe his EX projectile would be a mini-aegis or something though.

She’s not in it, that’s unfortunate, I’d like to have seen more characters from Alpha, but get over it. oracle obviously knows a thing or two and if he says that Karin didn’t make the cut, Karin probably didn’t make the cut.
Who the hell is oracle and we still don’t even know if she is or is not in the game yet so let people speculate about karin until there something else that confirms that karin isn’t in the game.
Oracle revealed a week before any Rolento teasers that a FF Male (not from SF4) would be Ibuki’s partner. A few weeks later Rolento is revealed to be Ibuki’s partner. Oracle also said that Karin and Alex would not make the cut.
He also said that Rolento, Cody, Guy, Hugo, and Poison were enough FF characters already. True-to-form, both Sodom and Haggar were disconfirmed with the most recent stage, although this is a bit of a stretch considering it was probably a coincidence.
The real interesting thing is that a week before TGS, he said he wouldn’t want to reveal too much to everyone because it would be like opening* Pandora’s Box*. I saw this as a mere metaphor, while I assume most SRKers had no clue what he was talking about, about the story/metaphor of opening Pandora’s box bringing chaos into the world. However, TGS has revealed Pandora’s Box being an important plot element in the game.
Oracle knows shit, and he knows Karin isn’t in.
I only trust Ono’s word on who is in and who is not. Not some guy on a message board claiming to have insider info.
It is a bit unsettling how right he has been so far though.

Listen, I’m not trying to spread around hate for Karin, but oracle has been too specific to be just some troll. I could write off the Final Fight comment, but a FF Male (not from SF4) being Ibuki’s partner? Out of how many possible choices, Sodom, Hugo, or Rolento? Not only that, but the fact that none of these characters have anything to do with Ibuki storyline wise, how could he have just picked Rolento out of a hat and gotten it right? Sure, he said this after the trailer revealing Ibuki was out, and after Doopliss had analyzed the trailer and claimed it was Rolento, but the Pandora’s Box mechanic? You’re bullshitting me if anyone here says that they normally use Greek mythology as metaphors in daily communication.
And once again, I like Karin, always want to see more Alpha characters showing up in 3D, but it’s not gonna happen, at least, not this time around. There’s still more-or-less 12 SF characters and 12 Tekken characters left (counting both Rufus and Asuka) but I don’t think Alex or Karin are one of them.
That Pandora’s box metaphor was quite spot on, have to agree on that. Could be coincidence really. Teasers will have to do in my case and speculating, which is the thing you can do in this thread.
I initially doubted Oracle and it turns out I was wrong. It’s pretty clear that Oracle knew something about the Pandora thing before any of us did. So I’m convinced he had some insider info. I’m just hoping that Oracle’s insider info is a little outdated and that they put Karin in after he got his information.
Oh its not about karin. I’m just saying that because oracle doesn’t seem like a reliable source to me thats all. Back to karin for a moment I just want to get to that point to see if she’ll be in or not and back off karin.

If you trust Ono then Karin and Sakura aren’t in the game anyway, as he has given an “alibi” for their absence from this game. Similar to C.Viper’s alibi of “tending to her child.”

I don’t go around spouting cryptic messages about “In this newest ROM, you might say CAPCOM flew a little too close to the sun” just because I like to reference Greek mythos. If I did that to confirm Icarus mode, a special mode in SFxT where you can fly, though, it wouldn’t be a coincidence, and it wasn’t coincidence. I can admit that maybe he’s not THE most reliable source, but whether he’s feeding us false information or not, he knows his stuff.
EDIT: Hey Skik, and I think you’re right, but Ono likes to say that all the time. Still don’t think Karin’s going to make it, and if Sakura does she’ll be with Sean, Makoto or Elena, most likely.
