Rumours, speculations and theories

LMAO!

Capcom’s business practices are extremely aggravating with this title, but the game itself is wonderful. Definitely enjoying it overall.

Still pissed that two people on the same console can’t play Pair Mode online on 360.

I have such a love-hate relation with Capcom. I love their games, very much. They’re fun and can be pretty innovative for their genres.

I hate their business practices. It’s learning about things like this that make me want to get the game used just to sting at Capcom’s accounts. That said, I can’t deny that I really do want the DLC characters.

With this in mind, what is the proper way to release characters? Would anonymous place holders be better for characters, just have the basic model in there? I’m not even sure now.

Ingrid, creator of Pandora?

The way I see it, yes. Placeholders and basic character models, maybe vocal tracks. Why they’d put ALL the DLC on disc, I don’t know. Originlly (before we realized that the characters were complete on the disc), I thought they’d done something along those lines. To find out they were complete on the disc is… dumb on their part, reeks of greed (whether true or not), and doesn’t exactly endear fans to them.

I don’t see how they could have not seen someone hacking the disc sooner or later, whether before the official launch or after.

Yep. Quite interesting. Would be even more so if she showed up later on down the line.

Ingrid in SFxT? Yes please!

Also, why does this remind me of Sailor Moon?! Lol.

If there isn’t already, I can just picture Ingrid doing the ‘In the name of the moon, I shall punish you’ pose.

People complain about the day 1 dlc for ME3 (granted, I’m not a big ME fan to begin with) and they at least explain “This was done during the major testing cycles of the game”. Even with UMvC3, there were no records on the character in UMvC3 being in the original (cept maybe Frank but he was just a placeholder a place holder at the time). And then there’s Arcade Edition, which honestly probably did it the best (though I think it the balance patch was free and the characters costed 15 to play, then that’d be even better).

In this case, there’s just no excuse. No logical explanation to say how capcom isn’t greedy in this regard. Sure, maybe the character might be a bit incomplete but seriously. It’s practically insulting the playerbase. I know this is just repeating what’s been said already but man, all the previous times Capcom did this, it at least made sense in some regard. This is greediest action yet.

Also, thanks for the like.

SURPRISE! SUPER SECRET DLC BOSS INGRID! YOURS TO FIGHT FOR $2.99 AND ANOTHER $2.99 TO PLAY!

Anyone else think Bryan Fury looks fucking boss?

LMAO, I almost didn’t catch that.

This game sucks.

Rumor, speculation, theory or all?

This game is fine. It’s the business models around it that blows monkey chunks.

EDIT: LOL yeah, I pretty much just repeated dementus. :razzy:

In my honest opinion, the core game is fantastic.

It’s all this shady business stuff surrounding it that sucks. :bluu:

And nothing of value was lost.

In case people haven’t seen it yet.

Get hype?

If Alex winds up in this game I just don’t think I could handle myself.

ALEX

How would we go about a class action law suit against capcom

i almost want to say that if alex gets into the game somehow all is forgiven. almost.

I still want my R.Mika.

R. Mika / Alex Team? I mean if Rolento and Ibuki can somehow become a credible team…
