IIRC Marvel didn’t want Shuma in unless he was a DLC character for some reason. But I’m not the one to ask, I haven’t paid much attention to that game. The development teams between that and this are visibly different.

But it’s safe to say that all dem be pullin that card yo.

That said, I like BB well enough. I bought CT, CS, and all of the DLC. However, I refused to buy Extend purely because I had already bought all of the DLC characters in CS, intending to support ASW and their game, and then they asked us to essentially pay again for it.

EDIT: And before I’m asked, no, a rehashed story mode and other single-player stuff like “Abyss Mode” or whatever doesn’t matter to me. It may matter for casual players and animu fans (which, to be honest, probably make up the vast majority of BB’s audience), but as far as competitive players, $40 for a single new character is a tall request.

Thing is who would be unlockable then? Everyone we have talked about has been confirmed as Vita fodder. The only others from Lupinko are R.Mika and Soldom who both have pretty strong proof about them being in the game. I really doubt unlockables.

If you feel “cheated” at this point, then don’t buy extend. it’s that simple. They aren’t locking Hazama from you like Capcom probably would have done case-scenario.

I personally feel Relius with balance changes is not worth it, however I do feel that no one has any right to mix in another company when they have not done any underhanded work such as keep** intentional characters out** for extra money.

Lei and Alisa have been very strongly hinted to be in the console version of the game due to the ESRB leak. And at this point, they’ll likely be unlockables.

Letting the ESRB rate it, and then locking it straight away, would be incredibly stupid and unlikely. Why would they bother going to the effort to two create two full characters for the console version, *and *let the ESRB rate it, if they were only going to lock it, and not let it be available? The ESRB generally only rates stuff that’s going to be in the game, not stuff you can’t use.

When did Lupinko hint at R. Mika and Sodom? I know there was that Sodom easter egg during one of the cinematic trailers, and then the whole R Mika’s sleeve/hair fiasco that turned out to be an alt for Kuma, but when did Lupinko mention/hinted them too?

Really, I think the main issue here is that you’re being incredibly pessimistic about the situation. I’m staying grounded myself, but I’m also not automatically assuming the worst. I also think that my scenario would be the sanest option for CAPCOM to take at this point. (Of course, if I was assuming the worst, I’d say that they’re money-grubbing whores who’d do it your way regardless…)
