We were not proven wrong since Rolento was a possibility as well as Elena.
Regardless, for a long, long, long time, it was mainly Elena, Makoto, and even Sean that were being put forth, even after the second image with Rolento’s red beret was released.
I think he meant we (Well, me… I guess?) proved it was Rolento when everyone else thought it was Elena/Makoto.
Yeah, Doopliss, I really respect you and others who take the time to look through it, I’d do it if I thought I could really find something in it. This is the video that actually sealed Rolento for me, cause it was so obvious. I’d like to see you try for Zangief and Lili (even though we already know Lili has Asuka, but there’s still a bunch of Rufus/Mika/Honda/Fuerte/Alex being thrown around for Zangief, even after the newest cinematic), because your technique seems to be the one that works the best.

Oh that. Kinda obvious guesses if you ask me. If you’d asked me about it, I’d have said the same thing. Well, if Karin and Alex is not in, his post will seem more legit, but yeah, we won’t know that until the game is pretty much out.
I gotta say, the fact that we have Ibuki X Rolento and Zangief X Rufus leaves us with Elena X Makoto, Fuerte X Mika, Sodom X Honda, and Sean X Blanka as potential spots. Two Alpha (technically one FF and one Alpha), two SF2 (also completing the World Warriors), three 3S, and one SF4. Seems like a good mix. If we had Elena and Mika respectively as partners, that would only leave Rolento X Sodom, Sodom X Honda, and Sean X Blanka as “logical” pairings.
