Dont mean to be rude, but out of all the sf4 players how many have shown the same interest in other games, not many if any. This problem isnt only in NS, but North America as a whole. Hell I`ve been going thru the same thing. You would n believe the effort it takes to get these people into new things. That said I strongly believe most will not carry on, but then again if Capcom or whom ever they pass their shit to continues to have major financial success and completely corners the market with their current quality of games then you might just be right.

This is interesting, because I’ve had basically the exact opposite experience in my scene. People show up for SF4/SSF4, but after hanign for a while and seeing that good players also play other games, they become interested in those games after watching them played. I think the bolded may be the x-factor in expanding a scene beyond having a single game cannibalize the players.

People hating insert FG here is nothing new, if people want to hate let them it’s not like they’re contributing anything else (but then again some people are too thin-skinned and end taking trolls too seriously so they probably deserve it lol), personally I thought Vanilla IV was shit covered in chocolate and bubble-gum but Super IV turned out to be a pretty good game imo so it’s whatever shrugs opinions
