There’s a bit of misinformation in your original post, which is why I posted to clarify what actually happened. (I don’t know whether or not Round1 actually refused to allow DDR and Pump to run at the same time. They did end up overlapping.) And no, you wouldn’t have seen me in a tournament before, because I wouldn’t have been near SoCal to have attended.

Then that’s great, because from your original post I got the impression your primary problem was with the DDR tournament having “ridiculous rules” and taking 7 hours. (though the length is a fairly valid complaint)
also I agree, in defense of DJ Vest, apart from being late I didn’t really see anything wrong with how he handled the rest of the day. (which is why I’m puzzled at what in particular was ridiculous about the DDR rules)
edit: before anyone else says “why are we still talking about DDR”, durrrr was talking about Round1 / an event they hosted, so we’re talking about Round1.
Also, are Evil Ryu and Oni Akuma unlocked yet?
Nah not yet. I played against and got rocked against a Guy player, girl Cammy, and girl Chun-Li player. Anyone here that was at ROund 1 today?
The guy player, the female Chun player, was from San Jose.
Chun player’s bf played Sagat.
All 3 were pretty good.

if that was the same trio i played on sat, then ya, that girl chun was pretty legit. so was the guy player.
