uh on Monday, a lot of card readers were down at various points in the day, sounded like a malfunction because when I asked a tech he said they didn’t have any idea. Pump PRO 2 and DDR X2 were down in the morning, then DDR X2 and DDR SuperNOVA2 went down in the night. (All games started working again eventually)
“lot of machines are down right now” = the actual games, or the card readers to accept credits?
Headed down to tomorrow night. Went here last week and was amazing.

Hey Suiken, I’ve been led to believe there’s a shortage of Technika 2 cards around… so maybe Round1 should start carrying them. They’re supposed to have good profit margins for the arcades, after all.
(A vast majority of Technika 2’s songs and charts are locked away, so people need a game card in order to really enjoy the game. Many people are also buying extra cards for “max points” to buy locked content, since earning MP through playing the game is sometimes slower than just buying another card…)
Also, just to check, has anyone serviced DDR X2’s P1 up arrow since Monday? It’s been sticking since late Saturday according to others, (and was sticking on Monday,) so it needs to stop sticking for this Saturday…
I was there for a short while yesterday night and two of the machines were down unfortunately.
Also, is there a way to reduce the credits to only 1 credit per play?
I’ve already placed a order for cards so for right now you guys have to hang in there but thanks for the heads up! also I will have the pads cleaned before this sat, I’ll do it myself if I have too.

Hey suiken! Does Initial D arcade stage 5 have ID cards? When I played I didn’t notice an option to buy one =[ Will you guys be getting them?
are the SSF4: AE machines going to be next to tekken6 this weekend? I really wish more T6 players would show up.
The AE machines are already back by the T6 machines. 3/4 were working yesterday.
The setup is great and so far everyone there is very helpful. Im looking forward to learning Yang a little more while practicing my Zangief and Honda.

BTW the Guitar Freaks set up is awesome. Floor pedals and all.
So, while I was waiting in line for my turn to play AE, one of the workers at Round 1 (didn’t look at his name) pointed to the SF2 Turbo cabinet and was like “Are you waiting in line? Because there’s another Street Fighter machine right there so you don’t have to wait.”
I mention to him that it’s an entirely different game. He stares at me blankly, shrugs, and walks off.
Some people just don’t get it.

Also, Suiken, the upper speakers on the Technika machine have been blown out or something, they sound awful (which is why you saw me today with headphones). Any idea if/when that can be fixed? Any time there is bass in a song, doesn’t even have to be a heavy bass kick, the speakers make that awful rattling noise. Makes the game a lot less fun to play and even less fun to watch.

No worries man, I have had a lot of things on my mind lately as well. Street Fighter and Technika are my outlets for stress relief lol.
No Cards, because the machine can be used for Time Play.
If there were Cards, then they would become free. :sad:
Round1 either gets rid the Time Play of IDAS5 to have Cards, or not have Cards to keep Time Play.
Cards for IDAS5 are not available at the front counter either.
I have Initial D and maxim tune cards in my office, but as jdm said, time play use prevents me from selling it or having them in the game, sorry. Yes, its a give and take kinda thing, give up time play or take it away so people can start using cards kinda thing.
