If Guile is easy then clearly I’m doing something very wrong.
Rose wins the fireball war. (keeps up with booms). Also helps she can absorb booms for meter or fling them back at him if he’s trying to follow right after (either ground or air). Guile has to block on knockdown if you go for a crossup. Once he’s in the corner, he pretty much has to guess right in order to get out. Guile can’t play lame.
Hard: Rog, Blanka, Bison, Adon, Rufus
Easy: Zangief, Guile, Makoto, Sakura, Sim, Dudley,

According to the latest japanese tier list, it said rose is 6-4 against sagat. Does anyone know why? I never fight sagats myself, but from what i recall that was a tough matchup?
All of Guile’s hard match up happen because it’s either that he couldn’t play lame or he couldn’t handle the fast pace pressure and ended up being unable to play lame.

I think it’s SLIGHT Sagat.
Bullshit IMO. Sagat is one of the only characters Rose loses to in a fireball war and that in itself makes the matchup harder. It means she has to rush him down, and while Rose has an easier time than most getting in because of her slide and slightly above average walk speed, she can’t focus dash because her dash is too slow. Once she actually gets in she can outpoke/pressure him, but she does too little damage to be anything special as opposed to Sagat who can do a shitload of damage and one uppercut will reset the situation and let him go back to throwing fireballs.
I’m wondering why some of you think Sakura is easy enough to fight?
I mean in Super, it was Sakura’s worst matchup hands down, but in AE, it’s leaning towards even or slightly in Rose’s favour.

I think it’s even. In Super, Sakura couldn’t do shit, ofc, but in this game, Sakura has a lot of shit that Rose can’t do anything about like that unblockable tatsu shit on my wake up.

What’s this now? 
His damage got buffed a lot from Super. Not Vanilla Sagat damage, but he still deals more damage than Rose. Sagat catches you with uppercut into U1 and you’re done.
DBJoseph was doing it against me.
I was knockdown and he did a tatsu.
I blocked backwards, it crossed me up.
I block forward it doesn’t cross me up.

hmmm weird…most of the time DBJoseph knock me down and did the tatsu on my wake up I did a ex soul throw and it caught sakura. Of course it was pure guess but since some sakura likes to do it its not bad to take a guess sometimes. I think that if you do ex spiral it will just whiff tho

Sakura can be a pain once she gets in, but thats the case with any kind of character vs Sakura. All I know is that Sakura can’t deal with Rose’s st.Hk. Basically, Rose can abuse that move as a poke and just bait the jump ins. Sakura can’t even focus absorb st.Hk if you hit with the tip. Though, Sakura can counter poke Rose’s st.Hk with cr.Hp and I believe cr.Mp works as well. It’s tricky though for the Sakura player.
