R.I.P. SK, even though I didn’t know you on a personal level, I always enjoyed our matches together on PSN and XBL. It was always fun chatting in SRKLive. Condolences to his family.

My condolences to the dood. I would sometimes see him on PJ stream when I was stream monstering and sometimes on a Tatsunoko chat.

i saw him play a few times at next level… he was so young… sad to hear this happened
lol I was with sk on that line for capcom fightclub (its where i met him in person as well). Having known him for several years in the same previous community as goforbroke, its heartbreaking to hear this news.

Gotta say this really sucks. Sk was one of the best rose players I’ve ever seen and he taught me alot. He really seemed to enjoy helping people out with learning the character or the matchup. I never met him but he was always chill online. It’s really hard to believe.
Sorry to hear that. Always sucks when reality slaps us all in the face.
Never heard of or knew the guy, but thats still really sad news to hear, especially since he was apparently a cool dude and respected player, from what people are saying. A shame too, since he was young and just got accepted into a college too.

Dang, really sad to see him go. He had a passion for the game and didn’t complain about his character choice and like many said was humble. I remember when around late 09 when I first came onto SRK, learning Rose, he held an event for Rose players to play each other and he recorded videos as well. It was a fun little time and learning experience and anytime I saw him on the sp00ky streams I would be rooting for him. Wish I could’ve played him more but whenever I play Rose I will remember him now.

This is truly devastating. Played him plenty of times online and caught up with him whenever I saw him in a stream chat. I could tell right off the bat that he was a genuine, kind person. Dude was a great player and helped me improve my game. He’s an inspiration to me. May you R.I.P, sk…you WILL be missed.
