Wow, it really sucks waking up to hear news like this.
I didn’t know him personally, but he was a big inspiration for me when I started playing Rose. Over the past year I’ve seen countless posts by him and he seemed like a really great guy overall and was always willing to help the community; I really learned a lot from him. Even without knowing him, hearing this news makes me feel sad… it almost feels like losing a mentor so to speak. My condolences go out to his family, friends, and everyone else who he impacted in life.

I played this dude maybe 50 times in ranked back in the glorious super SFIV days. I had him on my friends list too, he was a really respectful guy and were both so young…RIP sk

I remember playing him on ps3 some ways back. Very solid player and more than happy to compete for hours without complaining at all. He will be truly missed it sucks when someone so young passes on. Anytime I play a rose I will think of the contributions sk has made. My condolences to his family 
My prayers are with him and his family today. It’s very heartbreaking to hear that he’s passed away today and has me in tears right now.

I’m heart broken. I was subbed to him on Youtube and enjoyed watching his terrific Rose footage on ranked. He was the one Rose player I learned the most from. He was always very helpful to everyone- he gave my Rose some pointers, even commented on one of my vids telling me he saw improvement. I wish peace and comfort for his friends and family. RIP SK.
What the fuck. Broke my heart to wake up and see that. He was a good player and had a lot of potential, I was looking forward to seeing how much he would evolve in the future. Damn it.

Holy shit, was this the guy that was dedicated to the matchup thread?!?! I am sad to hear this! I just read the facebook page . . . he was saving up and getting ready to go to college. My heart breaks to hear that, man.

He lived a good life, he was ethical, humble, and intelligent. Great sense of humor, and incredible morals. Joshua Colon may have only been 20, but he lived more than a lot of us will. They say the dead get to rest in peace, but I’m sure he’ll be too busy for that, joining our other community members who both have shared their love for fighting games, and have left this world earlier than we wished.
Josh, we’ll meet again, sir.
Man i am so sad to hear this, i had a lot of great chats with him about Rose in UYG chat. Always loved to watch him play in the tornies and see his rose i action. Learned a lot from him, and had some good rose mirror matches with him once in a while. He will be missed in the community!
I don’t know him personally but we chatted through Youtube. He was a really good person, very polite and humble. I considered him an online buddy. I don’t know what else to offer besides my condolences to his family.

Out of all you Rose players, SK was my best Rose friend, the only person that actually (along with me) had a belief on Rose and actually would rather up their game instead of complaining about everything she’s lacking or everything that she’s missing.
He was genuine, I wish I had met him a few times in real life. I had talked to him on messenger a lot and he was truly a nice guy. I had a few pointers for him and now when his life was just taking a turn for the better, evils just shed afoot. He was one of the people in the community close to my age so I could really relate to him and he was very sympathetic.
I really do miss him. I really do.
