Yeah, Nice games, man. I’m usually pretty strong on my pokes, but you seemed to just block and punish those fairly easily. That crouch string kept hitting me and I hadn’t taken note of it until like the 12th game and then I tried to emulate it myself, but my button presses seem sluggish to me. If you hadn’t noticed I would end up with: Cr.lp, Cr.lk, Cr.mp, S.Hk or Cr.lp, Cr.lk, drill (missing the cr.mp altogether). It was weird.
I felt stupid for falling for your bait at the beginning of each round. It took me a minute to notice that every round started like that. But I couldn’t find anything to do about that slide either upon landing. I don’t usually let people cross me up so much, but the slide into a jump just kind of vexed me a little.
Those were good games, most of them were pretty close which is why I suppose I resorted to chipping. I didn’t consciously realize I was chipping so often, but I suppose that’s something I’ll tune up on. Also, that fireball cancel into super hits sometimes and does some ok damage, which is why I use it. I really try to bait into the Ultra with it, actually. It’s a terrible tactic because of all the sacrifice, but I don’t really mind the loss.
I’ll definitely have to work on my Rose… And here I thought she was near invincible, but I’ve been shown the err of my ways. Good games indeed.
hey clyde i played you earlier i have to play you again i was getting ready to go out on a date and was wasting time playing online till it was time to go. sorry didnt think i would run into someone i would want to play though.
For sure, unfortunately I wasnt able to log on today but i’ll try and get some games in tomorrow, it seems you log on as soon as I get home from work which is perfect.
Well here’s one more you can add to the list…I’m still learning her and I’m having problems with combo streams (only ones I know are c.mp/c.mk/c.hp drill) and I slide s.mk some…I’m open to learning what any of you have to offer because most of my area is blanka and balrog players…the one dude that’s great with Rose is on XBL…I’ll be on after 4pm today if you wanna throw a invite or 6
Your Rose much better than mine, I think I was better with her in the Alpha series than this one. I was heavily handicapped yesterday though becasue of the “Holiday”. My Rose was very sorry, I was throwing out EX throws instead of ultra FTL.
Hehe, you see me use the Gief short jump to get through the Rose fireball trap? your Fei whooped my Gief though and Gief is my main. I just need to learn vs good Fei more. Not too many of those.
I’d like to do some Rose mirrors another time though.

We should play later today then, Gief is my long time main. I use rose as my 2ndary in this but I am nowhere near as good with her in this as I was in Alpha :chat:
