Well if you recover faster than the combo should still work with no problems, since 5f recovery on ultra 2 doesn’t matter much if it hits anyway
Just seems like a nice simple combo to finish off people with ~40% health that srk or get hit on wakeup.
Also would love to know what setups people use after a knockdown.
I usually do a forward jump MK after a soul spiral knockdown, since it seems like a decent option, and if they dont quickstand I’m usually doing either cr.short -> tick throw, or cr.jab -> cr.short/sweep OS, or block if I think they will reversal.
Any other good ones that I should be aware of?
Is there any consistent safejump setup off a backthrow? Best timing I can get is just hold down then jump as soon as shes fully crouched, but that still requires manual timing which is tuff
Yo anyone have the glitch where you’re literally unable to block sometimes when you have orbs up? At first I thought maybe I was just hitting a small part below the corner on the stick but the more it happens, the more careful I am. I’ve held down+back and still gotten hit by moves that aren’t overheads. This only seems to happen when I have orbs up. Tell me I’m not the only one experiencing this glitch.
I feel bad I never understood that’s how orbs worked until now. Definitely going to try to find gimmicks to side switch my orbs and setup some of this goofyness at casuals tomorrow.
