you are right this whole thing has done that kind of but I have been really thinking about taking a brake but I can’t because I have like 7 pending jobs and I don’t want to let them down. I came into this happy and full of energy that has slipped away slightly but I feel my confidence and pride coming back. I am not quitter so that is not an option.

My very first case, I built with some off the shelf, shelf liner from Home Depot but I was never able to find the same stuff again. Everything I find now has the same lace pattern but the stuff I like is solid and super sticky. I used 3M adhesive tape to apply it and it’s still stuck to the hard board I used almost 2 years ago. If I can find more I’ll start using it again because it made lap play super solid with little to no movement of the stick. Now that everyone is getting clear plexi on the bottom of their cases a nice boarder of this stuff along with the rubber bumper feet should work out really well.
I bet if I order it from my lowe’s to your address you could get it, even in bulk. It’s the best bro like you said super sticky like real sticky I was shocked it moved my table before the joystick moved lol.
What I really like about that box is that it looks very modern. I don’t remember seeing an American stick setup that looked so sleek while being the size you need for the Happ or IL setup. Props to you for pulling it off, routing looks real clean too.
thanks, i hand sand the button holes and it takes forever. i need a small router so i can save time on that part. i hate that part, i dred it everytime
To answer your question, the balltop is delish! Haven’t had much of a chance to play with it yet since my stick is unfinished (Haven’t been able to finish the painting due to it being raining and my work ours going everywhere)
