I just installed a Flash I got from focusattack and the diagonals are really spotty. I saw in the thread that older models had problems, so is there any fix for this on the newer ones?

Update: I put a stock actuator in and it was working fine. Are there any oversize actuators that will work with the flash?

I recall reading somewhere here that oversized actuators are no good in an optical.

There no point with a over-sized actuator in a optical joystick.
Especially as some aftermarket actuators can have the wrong amount of reflectivity for a optical board to work. A White or metal actuator can be too reflective and cause errors, while a larger actuator can throw off timing of the optical board.
The Flash-1 is designed with the stock Sanwa actuator in mind.

I installed the ps360+ and I just put in the Rollie Flash 1 joystick pcb. For some reason the left motion is constant and right-up to right-down are not responding. The +5v is in the vcc screw hole shared with the TE panel brown wire.

I have a similar problem. I have the PS360+ hooked with the Rollie Flash 1 Optical PCB. My UP direction does not respond at all. I ordered a new 5 pin cable from Focus Attack to see if that solved my problem but nothing… It is the second time this happened.

It’s a bummer because I really like it. The feel is really good.
