To be clear, are these email orders only or can they be secured on this webpage as well?

Just got confirmation. Thanks!

Hi Rollie, I sent you a PM about my Flash1 order! any news as I havent received a tracking number yet. Thanks

yeah i got a confirmation and a tracking number but it doesn’t show that the package has been sent dropped off at the post office yet, but then again, the post office might be slow with that stuff.

I checked my tracking this morning and saw that it’s on it’s way out.
Can’t wait.

ahhhhhh feb 21st needs to get here faster!

aww yea just got mine. cant wait to try this baby out

Any chance of seeing this go head to head with a Spark? I’ve been holding off on getting one but I would like to see if there’s any pros and cons between this and Toodles’, aside from the goodies that come with it of course.

i’m sure it’s essentially the same, the bonuses are what make the difference. I don’t know about the spark’s compatibility with psx/2 voltage though.

just finished installing mine into my hrap3sa. took all of 5 minutes and got to playing some 3s before lunch. however there was an issue initially. one of the directions wasnt registering (i say one because i took it reinstalled it a few times and its always a different direction.) so i decided to test it without the little black plastic cover and square gate and pulled off hyperbombs with aplomb. it definitely wasnt the pcb. upon further inspection, it seems some of the ‘eyes’ needed to be adjusted so they can ‘see’ each other more clearly. im sure this is an isolated issue though

with that done, put back together, everything worked fantastically. although i do kinda miss the clicky noises, i must say this is the best response my stick has given me. executing slash-hyperbomb is a-ok

extra points to those who can find all the sexual innuendos

received my sets in the mail today =) going to have them wired up MC style by the weekend!

The current Spark and the Flash are very very comparable as far as features go. Both will experience a lessoned sensitivity on lower voltages like PSX/PS2; it doesn’t mean they won’t work, but they definitely won’t be as sensitive. That’s why I stated that the Spark is only supported on +5v. Since the resistors are slightly different on the Spark, I have no information on how they compare when both on +5v; I expect them to be extremely similar to the point no one could tell the difference in a blind test. Even though I’d want to hype up my stuff, I don’t know of any reason to choose one over the other except for those goodies. Spark vs Flash in my personal opinion is a matter of optical vs. optical+goodies+Happ name.
However, the Flash coming back has forced me to step up my game. Please keep an eye on the Spark thread if you’d like to know more.
(EDIT: This assumes the new Flash is made properly with correct measurements to match the JLF and assembled with properly aligned LEDs/PTs.)

The dust cover /does/ look pretty cool!

Just got my order in. Didn’t know it came with extra springs. Gonna install the flash now!

Let us know which spring you prefer, and what it feels like. Still waiting for mine.
