well its not that i want to run a different game i just havn’t been playing any fighting games since the last time i was at the store been having to much fun playing A.v.a but ill probably come to the tourney for a bit maybe take some side bets
I have no idea what everyone is playing… But KOF is for sure a side event and we never seem to have any time to run more then 1 teams event anyways… because everyone is always getting there so late! Plus we don’t have enough room to run multiple events at the same time.
Just playing KOF and SF4 atm. I’ll be playing SFxT depending on how good it is. I probably won’t buy it when it releases.
We can run whatever people actually want to play and if the prices are too high for something we can change them, the guys at the store just want people to come out and play.
Please do a KOF tourney then!

I’ve never been to a tournament thus far, but I’m a student at JMU and the Charlottesville trip isn’t too bad. Are there people that go to Omega from the Harrisonburg area often?
Yes. Weston (my bro-in-law) and myself go every thursday, sometimes our friend Nick comes too. We leave at around 4:45. We get there at 6pm and head back to Harrisonburg at 9:30-10pm.
It’s not as bad as it sounds and its worth it since there’s plenty of competition at TheEnd in Charlottesville. The main games played atm are SF4, UMVC3, and KOF13.
Nick and I play all the time during the week at my place in Harrisonburg. You’re welcome to come hang out and play with us too if you like. We mostly play KOF13 atm, but also play SF4.

Only games I have are SSF4, UMVC3, and Third Strike Online, only play the first two. Don’t have or play KOF but it would be cool to try it. I’m not the most experienced player or anything, only been playing for like less than 2 years, but I’m good enough to screw around in casuals and whatnot. Do you have any idea how far from campus are you?
I play all three of those games. But focusing on KOF 13 atm, would be glad to teach you how to play. Could always use more players playing it. I live pretty close, I’m near the Sheetz near 33 and Vine St.

Yeah would be real good to get some new people down there. I will try my best to be friendly and help you learn SF4 which is my main game but I also am trying to learn/play KOF13.
I’m trying to show up for that tournament on the 17th, it being on Saturday is a lot easier than a weekday for me. I’m hoping to get enough time in on SFXT to have good enough stuff by then. Might try UMVC3 (if I can figure out a damn team I really want) or SSF4 as well, we’ll see.
GMU is hosting KOF XIII and Soulcalibur 5 event march 17th. we got some great KOF (ryry, steve h, rogueyoshi) players coming through and some not so great players. all in all, it will be a great event for players of all levels. we will also have a SF x Tekken tournament. asus monitors will be provided and we will also have a h2h + projector setup for finals. come check it out.
