There are few things on earth as terrifying to me as updating my GPU drivers.
The ultimate hell of multi-monitor setups.
There are few things on earth as terrifying to me as updating my GPU drivers.
The ultimate hell of multi-monitor setups.
So where do you get wallpapers for a multi monitor setup?
Just google whatever resolution you’re looking at. . .
The standard 3 monitor resolution is 5760 x 1080. . .but your options are very limited.
It’s even more difficult if you’re running a custom resolution. . .
I can’t begin to imagine what I’d do with that kind of desktop space.
I could maybe play every KOF game simultaneously.
What time’s good for drinks for tonight? 8?
hey steve (or anybody else i guess) what’s a “just frame” in tekken? i’ve seen the term thrown around a few times but i’m looking through the neogaf OP on the tekken system and i can’t find it defined anywhere and i’m more than a bit drunk so i don’t wanna be just google searching it up. help me out plz?
edit: oh my god maybe this is just neogaf being dumb or me being drunk but holy fuck tekken is complicated
 Think of just frames like instant blocking in BB, which is commonly referred to as just guarding or just defending in other games that have that feature.
Simply put, a just frame technique is one that has to be completed within a certain timeframe, oftentimes involving certain parts of that input to also have specific timing to go along with the rest of the motion. Think about a shoryuken in Street Fighter and imagine having a tight window in which to input the motion and then having to press :df: and :p: at the same time. That’s essentially a just frame.
so it’s like having to hit a link in a combo but if you don’t hit the followup link the first move doesn’t come out? or it’s literally you have to hit a link in a combo and tekken has a special name for that because god knows why?
 It’s like one move having links as part of its input.
Just as an aside, just frames tend to give moves “true” or “special” properties; if you mess up the timing, usually a worse or not-as-good move will still come out. You rarely have moves that are only just frame inputs.
So imagine if Ken’s shoryuken only lit you in fire if it were a just frame, but would still uppercut you if you missed the timing otherwise.
ah, okay. that sounds a lot less miserable than i was initially imagining. i received a copy of ttt2 for 360 and registered to compete in it for apex, so i’m trying to put some research time in to start before i come back and can get on the grind.
One example, the Mishima’s Rising Uppercut becomes the Electric Wind God Fist when performed correctly. Electric Wind God Fist is more damaging, faster, bigger hitbox, and leaves you alot safer than the regular Rising Uppercut.
Think of it like an EX move, but with very strict inputs.
 A-ha! Gotcha!
People think electrics do more damage.
They don’t!
Thankfully; I think they already do 31. >_>
Damnit, I spent so much time and energy cleaning to make this place good for the new year that I’m too tired to stay up, LOL. Thankfully, I’ve got a tall glass of somethin’ to keep me awake. :k:
I know it did in Tekken 5!
I haven’t played with a Mishima since then though. :p:
 I miss T5.
You wanna know what I missed about T5?
The lifebars.
Look at every 3D fighter sans VF from this year - IT’S ALL BLUE.
 What a good way to end the year.
