So, uh, I clicked on that link and the second paragraph contained what appears to be a pretty major spoiler for the game, especially considering some of the other stuff you’ve posted about it. Just an FYI for anybody else who hasn’t played it yet.

Actually you’d be surprised at how little spoilers matter. . .the plot is insanely deep, twisted, and has a ton of characters. . .but yes should anyone be so inclined. . .don’t actually click that link if you don’t want to know things about Dark Souls.
I turned on the frosty faustings stream and watched a yukiko lose to shadow labrys in 18 seconds. The two rounds took 18 seconds. Then I got really sad.
I was thinking it would be a discussion of the storytelling mechanics in dark souls and not literally “HEY HERE IS WHAT HAPPENS AT THE END OF THE GAME AND THIS IS WHAT IT MEANS FOR YOUR CHARACTER”.

Dark Souls.
I found my old copy of Megafan, from July/August 97. It’s got sections for Street Fighter III, Tekken 3, Bushido Blade, and Fighters Megamix. In addition, people asked the hard questions.
“Why does Namco release a new Tekken every year? For example: Tekken (1995), Tekken 2 (1996), Tekken 3 (1997), Tekken 4 (1998), and maybe Tekken 5 (1999). Boy, Namco mus like the PlayStation!” - Lindsey Davis III.
And Matt Puskar complains that Capcom felt the need to include Ryu and Ken in Street Fighter III; he was pretty bummed that somebody who never played a game could pick up an old character and dominate with the same tactics they used before. Also, being the only two characters with fireballs meant that they were overpowered and unfair. Way to screw up, Capcom.
And finally, James (The Raygun) Deever is wondering if, as an RPG fan, he made a poor choice in purchasing a Nintendo 64 over a Playstation. The editor points out that the only two RPGs that are on the release list for the N64 are Zelda and Mother (neither of which have a firm release date). You made a bad choice, James.

He will read a letter by Randard ‘Stuxo’ Pritcher about how the latest iteration of the Angry Birds fighting game is broken.
He will laugh at the old-timey innocence of it all as he jacks into his iOuPS5000 to play a rousing game of CityFarm while a robot plays with his genitals.

I’d be on board with Stuxo’s criticisms. White Bird’s egg bombs and Boomerang Bird were brought back only for the unwashed scrubs and remain OP against my technical, wood-based gameplan. All for a few extra microsales to Neo Buffalo.
