Buuuut, DP+L for Chris (the mine special move), what’s the frame data on it? I just want to see if my basic block string (clk cmp hp forward+hp dp+L) is actually safe. For the most part, it seems like I trade as soon as I put the mine down and they hit me.
Also, Arthur DP+H and DP+M (hellslash) - want to know the startup and the recovery. I’m beating a crapton of moves with it, it’s nuts.

I was playing my friend’s friend last night for the first time. He thought I was trolling with my Chris/Cap/Arthur team, and told me to use my “real team”.

So real teams need either a Doom, Vergil, or a Wesker somewhere…
At the very least, I can manage to get wins through pure lack-of-matchup experience.

Grenade Toss. I don’t think :l: is safe.

I don’t think the shotgun is safe if the opponent’s small enough and is crouching. It just whiffs them completely, making me unsafe.
I’m really growing into Chris, but it really, really sucks how he can’t shoot SIDEWAYS in the air. He’s good as long he’s higher than the opponent, but as soon as someone is higher then him, all I can hope for is superjump grab or something. In fact, nearly all my characters have that problem.
That’s why I hate playing against Dooms who knows how to stay up there in the air and stay there for long. Such a pain. And one of the few real counters is…Doom Hidden missiles. Or maybe Hawkeye up-arrow assist, although I’ve never seen that used in a match.

As for Chris. Its minus 7 if the landmine is guarded, but I would image its a safe string in general becuz its suppose to detonate if Chris gets hit.
Startup of Heavenly Slash (DP + M ) is 7 frames, and its -27 on guard (SHIT…oD punish lol! )
Startup on Hellbound Slash (DP + H) is 15 frames , and its - 11 on guard

-7 on landmine? Oh wow. I wish flame carpet grenades explode on hit (not projectiles), that would be so disgusting to use that as a safe string.
DP+H is safer than DP+M? Weird, but kinda makes sense because Hellbound is two hits. Thanks dude.
