It was a good movie, really surprised me.
I expected shit, and I got something really nice instead.
Will say this though, it’s not Robocop, at all, it’s only similarities are a tiny handful of names and a few designs. What it is though, isn’t at all bad, just different.
If you don’t like different, then I don’t recommend it, but if you don’t care and just want to see a good action-drama, it’s that.
I do feel like the way they handled it led to it being better suited as some kind of AMC/HBO hour long episode show, though I have no idea where they can go from here.

At the start of the movie you see they have made ED 209 into a bitch, not only that they have them on patrol in Tehran… barking out orders in fucking english. Smdh.
To enjoy this movie you need to go both full retard, and never have seen the original. IM3 fans will eat this dogshit up.
Coming back from seeing it. It’s a decent action flick. Abandon any hope of a Robocop movie as this movie ain’t it. There’s no social commentary and the political satire has been reduced to Sam Jackson essentially being Bill O’ Reily. Even the way Murphy dies to become Robocop is lame. Yea, it’s a decent movie if you flesh down any exception of it being Robocop down the toilet.

So, did the human hand come into play at any point in this flick?
The hand is completely pointless. It’s there for aesthetics only. I guess it gives the illusion of a man in a suit of armor but they quickly show you otherwise. I personally liked the movie. It plays it straight all the way through and isn’t as hookey as the previous films but it does wink and nod at the camera here and there.
The thing that’ll probably piss Robocop fan the most is:

Murphy is 100% there. He isn’t a reanimated corpse with memories. He’s a guy placed into a robot body with a fully functioning brain.
