A comic legend behind some classic works has passed away on Sunday at 60 years of age. A quick rundown on some of his comic works include the 70s cult classic Howard the Duck, Man-Thing and Foolkiller. Some of his work in other mediums include Thundarr the Barbarian (one of his creations), GI Joe: A Real American Hero, The New Adventures of Batman, Transformers and Star Trek: The Next Generation.

I just read all of Gerber’s Howard the Duck a couple of months ago. That was so good for a '70s series. It’s aged so well.

Also, Hard Time kicked all sorts of ass. I guess nobody really bought or read it, but check out the TRADES, BABY.

Looks like it could be out of print. But I bet it’s still available at retail. 'Cause no one ever really bought it. It’s good.

RiP, had no idea he worked on that series, the first series was pretty good, and the guy will be missed.
