The worst I see them doing to Gwen is putting her in a coma or sending her away. Although it would be cool if it went the Ultimate route with her.
The show won’t be able to go to far if it returns to the CW, what with the renting/whoring itself out to 4Kids.

After the second season the show is going direct to DVD and will become more mature. So Gwen could possibly die season 3.

Gonna be sad when they finally kill Gwen. I mean, I actually like this version of the character. Some folks on other boards think they won’t kill her because it’s a “kids show.” How many folks died on Gargoyles? And with the level of violence on this show, people dying isn’t out of the realm of possibilities.

It’s not people dying that I’m worried about, it’s people coming back from the dead that bothers me.
I have heard NOTHING but GOOD THINGS about this show. People have been calling it DCAU-quality.
Is there any word of this coming to DVD anytime soon?
There are plans, but nothing too soon. I’d say maybe later this year or early next.
Anyway, I’m on episode 8 and I have to say, this show is too fucking good. It definitely IS worthy of DCAU praise. The Green Goblin was actually handled well and his voice was actually fitting. Has the laugh of the 90s version with the tone of the Joker.
Also, Keith David as Tombstone is genius. The voice casting is on par with DCAU casting.
