If you haven’t ever listened to a full Bowie album, I don’t know that blackstar is the place to start. But starting definitely beats keeping him on the back burner.
Try Young Americans, Aladdin Sane, Ziggy Stardust, etc. You know, the classics that everyone knows but don’t realize it’s his music. He experiments and reinvents his music A LOT so you’re going to have some albums you love and some you hate.

I think I can say I met Bowie in the coolest way possible
