in fact I do! Tentative date is September 5th. As long as that doesn’t interfere with any tournies or anything. That about two weeks after D Rods gathering so should give people time to recover. What you guys think of that date? Once again, will be food, beer (will be getting it in advance next time), pop and fighting games. Should be good times.
If I can swing it, I’d like to throw a once a month thing. Maybe not BBQ every time, because it will get cold, but food will be provided each time regardless. What you guys think of that idea?

being as tho its the last month of summer, my plans are not certain. I may be hangin with my homie the weekend of the 15th b/c he goin overseas at the end of Aug…so, yea. Im still tryna do Summer Jam
heh i just went to the x3o website and at the top it still says $5 to play all day.
then you read the fine print and it says it ends at the end of june.
they still have not updated their site.
I don’t think x3o really matters anymore since the UMBC gameroom is opening up soon. But I never been to the gameroom so i dunno if they have laggy tvs or not
yah its just that x3o is about 40 miles closer to me than umbc heh.
Yeah B.More is still a bish to get to from where I live (495 traffic makes me want to drop kick small trees) but for the competition that will potentially be there it’ll be worth it. The location is closer to more of the talented SF players in the area any ways. Plus with the Asus monitors we won’t have to deal with the lag anymore. There was definitely a bit of lag on the UMBC screens. I’ll still play on them when or if people are playing but there’s no way I can take my matches seriously on those screens.
Oh and yeah it’s pretty obvious that X3O is just one of those places that doesn’t really care to update their website. I mean in reality no one’s really going to look at the website any ways since they only have one gaming center in all of the US and otherwise they’re just some random tech support company. If it wasn’t for the fact that they held tournaments for fighting games previously a long time ago I would have never known the place was there.
Either way I’m still going to X3O on a day when the manager is there to talk about another deal. It was pretty accessible for people who didn’t have cars within the metro area and we could always bring our own monitors and a system to play on instead of the laggy TV. On off days in the middle of the week it was good to keep me in practice and the fact that people could just walk in and play was really cool.
Yeah x30 was a chill place. They did not give a damn that we had like 3 monitors/tv’s and a laptop going all at once. I think if they somehow give better deals they’d get more people out there.
But yeah with UMBC starting up sept 9th it’s gonna take over, and the MD/VA area will level up for sure.
I’m finally able to go to x3o and it seems noone’s really gonna be there. 
I do wish x30 would get that deal going again - I love much closer to rockville pike and the competition was more than adequate for me.
So when are we going to do these “RANBATS” in the DMV?
