okay first and last day we went to THE ULTIMATE GAMING UNIVERSE or something. They raised the group fee to $4 per person. We still got it good with $2 per person though.
someone should tell the x3o guys to just do $8 all day for the consoles. And to tell them to get HDMI or go back to crts
More CvS2 online reminiscing? But this time, it might be DRUNKEN CvS2 online reminiscing! 
Yeah I think we just need to either sign up for premium at X3O or just talk to them again about making a deal for us. 8 dollars for one day of the weekend there where we stay late night would be pretty hardcore either way. I mean it’s not like they really know who we are outside of people that walk in and post on SRK (and I’m sure they don’t post on SRK) so we just gotta go back up there and show interest.
Ultimate Gaming Zone is ass. 4 dollars an hour and they don’t have any premium deal as far as I saw. You basically have to pay 20 dollars even if you come as a group to pay for 5 hours of gaming. Especially when people have to hop on a bus after they get on a metro to get there it’s just nowhere near worth it at that price. I don’t know where that rumor got around about the 2 dollar thing cuz that would have been the only real reason for us to go down other than the fact that it’s more spacious than C3. Another misunderstanding gone terribly wrong. I guess you get what you pay for though.
Oh and yeah…CVS2 EO online was where it was at. The drama, the dropping, the no having roll cancels, the EX grooves, the P groove super cancels, the A groove air cancels, AiRiC and Gadgy’s girlfriends, Warlox making every topic on the first page created by him…it just went on and on. Now that I think about it that game online by far was 2 of the best years of my life. I didn’t even like the game anywhere near as much as I liked 3rd Strike but there was just something about a game that had 40 something characters, 6 different grooves, the ability to make your character camo in the training mode stage and the trash talking that people did through the mic and on the forums that you just couldn’t deny. There were so many death threats and online challenges and dropping speculations and false promises from Capcom to fix the ranking problems…LOL.
I’d be down for the x30 premium or a day where we get a lot of people out there to physically show we have a solid number of people HUNGRY for business. Maybe they’ll throw us a bone.

oh yeah! GGS today though, I think we’ve all stepped up a little which is good to see. Too bad about rugi who was stuck with Ryu and no unlocked Akuma he still played well though! (l o l @ that…the place needs to at least unlock some shit for people to play x_x). If only people knew the shit us MD people have to go through to get good sessions man… lol
So where/when are people meeting up tomorrow morning? I’m not playing in the Scion tourney but I’ll definitely stop by and see how everyone’s doing.

Oh and yeah it needs to be said again…UGZ is ass. The fact that they didn’t even have hard drives for the systems was hilarious. They want people to pay for a steak and shrimp dinner just to play games for 5 hours and it’s hilarious how there’s no hard drives for the systems. One of the kids working there was like “well how long does it take to unlock all the characters? I can do it at my house tonight”. Well WTF would that matter if they don’t even have the hard drive connected to the systems during play? :lol:
dude, at this point x3o is pointless with UMBC starting up again in like a month. I mean, I know DRod is trying to have sessions at his place before Summerjam, and maybe MVA is going to start having people over again next week or so, theres plenty of tourneys and things to keep people busy until then
Yeah it’s true UMBC is right around the corner. I’ll be going to UMBC this fall and the wednesday night sessions are gonna be that super crack. So I guess all is good then lol.

Yea, there were mad people there. I couldn’t find my camera, because I was going to try and get pics, but will definitely have it next time. I would guess there were, at one point, 30 some odd people in the house, 5 setups going, etc. Good times.
And we did have MvC2!! On the 42" HDTV no less! Saw some pretty beastly games on it. At one point, we had 2 SF4 setups going, 1 MvC2 setup, 1 CvS2 setup and 1 Blazblue setup. Blazblue eventually got switched out for KoFXII, which looked surprisingly fun to me and CvS2 came out for GG. Was a good time.
EDIT I did get one pic from my crappy camera phone. I looked blurry on my phone, so didn’t bother taking any more. This is from the kitchen into the dining room where CvS2 and SF4 were going on.
