GG’s last night everyone who showed up, it was a good time. I also liked facing your Viper cause I don’t think I’ve faced a good Viper ever and it’s a learning experience. Makes me wanna learn her too cause her combos are sick.
I need to work on my damn execution, I missed that damn headbutt link like 75% of the time heh, gotta keep practicing that. Your execution with Viper though, wow, you pretty much that her on point and don’t mess up at all.
And Dookit, nice final match we had there haha, that went down to the wire on like every round. You also have that FADC -> ultra pretty damn consistent, good job.
If only someone else didn’t have trouble landing his Ultra after FADC or some juggles … cough Rufus cough

DevilJin I think you said they have that tourney monthly though? If so I will definitely hit it up the next time.
Yeah it’s been monthly for a while but the guy who runs the tourneys made an official statement saying that they should start doing them biweekly pretty soon. Which I’m assuming is mostly due to the popularity of SFIV and the general resurgence of the fighting game scene.

Purbeast: Started off slow but then came on strong. Good shit. Gained a couple levels fighting your boxer.

yea man can’t say we really had good matches, cause we only fought i think 3 times, and 2 of those we both picked people we weren’t that good with to avoid the mirror matches that we both hate, then when we did our balrog mirror match, it was sloppy as hell hah.

yo any of you guys know any places that sell like little fold out tables?
i would like to get one that isn’t very tall so that i can set my joystick on one while i play, preferrably one that folds out so i can actually bring it with me.

That would be pretty sexy. I’ve grown accustomed to sitting on the floor, but that’s kind of uncomfortable when I play somewhere else. Also, I can’t play on my lap at all cuz it feels weird. I’ve always wanted one of these for sure.
Yea yesterday was the first time I have had to play with it sitting in my lap, and I managed but still felt kind of weird. I’m used to sitting it on a coffee table and leaing over it to play it.
I may have found someone selling 4 of them for $20. I believe they are about 26" high but I’m waiting to see what the person says back. If I pick these up would anybody want to get 1 of them for $5 from me?
they are foldable and seem easy enough that you can carry them around.
I’ve gotten used to playing on a chair or on the floor. People make fun of me because I find a way to play games or sleep in the most awkward positions. Like I just sit the stick in my lap indian style and play if I’m sitting on the floor. When you do it all the time you just get used to it. If this was like 3 years ago when I was still figuring out how to use a stick I might have looked into getting one.
Actually now that I think about it I’ll probably need to get a heavier table or stand so that I can put the Evo monitor on during our sessions.

Yesterday was my first time at X30 and there were only 5 of us so it didn’t seem too crowded. and the fact that you can fold those up helps a lot because you can get them out of the way very easily.
I am going to check them out sometime in the near future and i want to bring my joystick and see how rocky/sturdy it is when I have my joystick on it before I decide to get them or not.
