Rio Hotel & Casino Tips **From A former Worker!

Are there RCA jacks so we can plug in a PS3/DC into the TV?

thats a damn good question, if you can answer this, that would be much appreciated lol.

I assume EVO booked multiple rooms across both towers. Is it possible when making a booking under a special rate to request which tower you’re staying in?

Are there rooms with seperate bedrooms?

I third that! Which tower is it in?? No love holes plzzz!!!

ya the tvs have RCAs in the front i believe. some in the back.

Only upgraded suites have separate bedrooms… other than that you will have to get connecting(door) rooms.

excellent tips

Thats my 1 hated thing about Vegas… the deposits.

Maybe ill stay at Rio for the days of EVO and move to another hotel on the strip so I can go gamble on ‘vacation’ time

Ok good so this isn’t one of those hotels that only has RF ports that are blocked off by plastic nuts. Last year’s Evo was such a disaster having to break the back of TV’s just to get to play games on them.

About the TV inputs. I just got off the phone and got three different answers from three different Rio staff. Front desk told me no: there are no audio video inputs on the TVs in the room that you could plug anything into. So she sent me to talk to another staff of Rio where you rent TVs out that have the RCAs but they are 300 dollars a night! I said that’s crazy so then she said she wasn’t sure so she sent me to some mechanical department. Dude there said some TVs should have them because they rent out dvd players that use the same plug-ins. What’s up, anyone know for sure yet if we can hook up consoles to the TVs in our rooms?

thanks for these tips, much appreciated!

I live in vegas, I was at the rio two weeks ago, it was about a 27 inch crt tv with front rca imputs…

Flipflop!! Angelo!!! Why did you leave me? :(( LOL

haha, i go where the money goes!

What time is check in usually?

Appreciate the update, I’ll still bring a screwdriver though just in case not all of them are the same

Check in 4pm

So says every hotel but I always manage to check in before 11am.

Be aware that sometimes you will have to wait for your room til 4pm… since they can just technically give a room originally held for you to a casino player of the hotel. So best thing I can recommend is to just check-in early(paperwork, yada yada, etc)… leave ur baggage with the bell desk… wait until your room is actually ready, enjoy your time at Rio & Evo, and come back to pick up keys later… and your wait for the room wont seem so painstakingly long.

Practically a month away! Had to check back on some of these great tips again. Big thanks FlipFlop. We’ll se seeing you there?

i just got a job in LA… so i must see about taking time off, but i will seeeee!!

I must have my Raising Canes…
