Hahaha, I’m still learning Tekken, as you can see. I think I’m getting the hang of it very slowly though, I have some shitty ghetto mixups off of a blocked 1 with her. If they block it, I can either:
- Elbow (if they block low)
- Mad Axes (if they start blocking high because I mash on elbow all the time)
- Counter hit 1~2, 1 launcher (if they start to retaliate after the blocked 1 to beat my elbow/throw attempt, since her 1 is 8 frames), then mash more elbows after the launcher for 40%
These were actually working today, somewhat. But yeah, I’m hella lame at Tekken. You can give me tips if you see me doing dumb shit, haha.

dopeness matt, haha, julia>people who like to attack. just don’t 1~1,1 and hopkick like crazy like random julia/kuma players i’ve seen at tilt throughout the years. run up throw/mad axes/df+2,1 mixup if they techroll after knockdown. follow any 1~2,1 or df+2,1 with f+3~1 then elbows. you prob already knew that though.
Cool! I didn’t know about f+3~1. Oh, I try not to use 1~1,1 much at all, it’s very unsafe on block, isn’t it? That’s the only thing about Julia, she has some dope stuff, but a lot of it isn’t safe, which is why I’ve been sticking to elbows, jabs, and throws. What I’ve seen in some Korean vids, is after a combo with hella elbows, they do what I think is d,d/f+1~3 to set up okizeme because she spins closer to the opponent. That’s what it looks like to me, but I don’t even know her full movelist yet, haha. I did find yesterday that her d+3 “Midget low kick” is awesome.
good shit last friday…i think the teams are forming up REALLY good…Sebastian made a good point of our team having too many Kens and Chun…I suggest the next time we meet( how bout next Friday…gives us a week to beef up) that we use at least 2 secondary characters to give everyone a little experience vs different characters

yeah f+3~1 is a new move that can be added after the df+2,1 which makes her juggles more powerful than before. yeah 1~1,1 on block will put you at disadv and good mishimas will uppercut it. I myself actually use 1~1,1, (forgot about 1~2,1 i guess i should use it more )but I only on CH. I think if you stop at 2nd hit, it has less disadv than if you complete it.
nice tip on that d, df+1~3 for oki, i’ll try it as well as the d+3. Using mad axes after they block the d,df+1~3 move tends to work for me too.
That makes sense, but all of my characters other than Ken are not very nice at all, haha. I’ll switch it up though, just for the benefit of everyone else. My roster will be:
Ken (main) - Makoto and Elena (secondary)
