Basically, people usually meet up at the Pentland lounge on random nights (usually Friday nights after 10 since their parking is free) and get some games on, provided that no one is hogging their big screen TV and some people brought some TVs or the room isn’t occupied by other random fags. Usually if there’s enough people (more than 10) and sets + sticks, we throw random tourneys. As far as I know, weekly Pentland meets are currently on hiatus cuz no one’s showing interest in showing up and getting some games on or there are too few people that they’d rather just go to someone’s place instead. I’m sure Pentland will pick up later in the school year though since more people will be back in school and we’ve had people from as far as Cal Poly show up on random Friday night meets.
Oh yeah, there’s talk of a big Pentland regional tourney being thrown sometime in November, but I dunno the details yet. The last big Pentland tourney was pretty good, even though we couldn’t use the other half of the Pentland lounge, so it was kinda crowded.
I just got back from Las Vegas. I got there Thursday night and we left around noon. What hotel were you guys at? My friends and I were at the Aladdin and we had a suite. We went to the Rain at the Palms hotel Friday night in a Hummer limo. I’m too tired to type out the rest…
PS: I work in Ontario now so I might be down to drop by Jesse’s since its on the way home for me anyways…
