Well hopefully that will change. Like with your Bison, I don’t know if it was because you were nervous or if the move is retarded safe but at the tourny ever knock down you did EX head stomp. Can that be baited? Can it be punished? I’m not really sure because I don’t understand how to play against him since I never really have. But with these gatherings hopefully we can all help each other so we can have a solid group here. I try to play most of the cast with average skill so if anyone needs help against certain characters I can do my best to help.
High level abel play is tricky. The vids I see are mostly west coast stuff and its a lot of change of direction FADC’s. The way I play abel is kinda opposite, I’m not super good at FADC I in fact miss it a lot or hold it too long. But its usually cross up into cr. fierce > qcf + p FADC > cr. fierce > ultra. Or roll then grab. I use a lot of his command throws. Like cross up throw, or cross up jab jab throw. Stuff like that, but I have to be really random since its real easy to just jump out. Also, his EX change of direction is a really good armor move, if you have a poke happy player or if you expect a non armor breaking move you can whip that out into the FADC to ultra. For pokes, I like f + mk since it leads into a dash to get in real close, i also like cr. mp, cr. jab, and standing lk. Somtimes standing RH but its really slow. Oh, and this is stupid but I like to do roll then cancel into super, especially on rog players who try to headbutt the roll as it goes across a downed opponent or something. I use this very rarely, only if i know that the person is going to do a move to knock me out of roll. For his link it’s good to mix in his sean kick, especially for me to catch players trying to get out of my throw setups, or change of direction setups. Also, remember if the block the first hit of change of direction and they have super OR ultra you need to stop or FADC. Because they can get reversal super or ultra before you connect with his second rekka.

Yo drizzle good games. You just need to stay out of the air so much, and work on your ground game. No more random headbutts! lol. Abel’s link that I was doing is killer, just remember you have to do it perfectly or you can get reversaled. Which can lose the match for you if you face someone like Rog, or Ryu.

It’s retarded that I’m gonna meet so many people tonight that LIVE IN THE SAME CITY AS ME that I’ve never met when I already know pretty much every one else in VA.
There’s really no excuse for this and I really hope it doesn’t happen. But we’re pretty much at that point right now. I don’t know about everyone else but I fully intend to ask them stupid questions about SF IV because if I don’t I’m never gonna learn anything.
Also, there’s gonna be a lot of people tonight, how many tv’s/systems are we gonna have and which are they. I do not own a 360, so I can only bring a PS3 controller/stick (I suck with the stick though and don’t plan to bring it.)

yea the trick apparently…is charge d/b for the headbutt…the execute with u/b so when you land all you have to hit is f.b.f punch x3…and thats all
um well i think were gonna have 3 set ups which is plenty. Plenty of sticks. I fully encourage you to ask questions. 75 percent of the game is knowing the match up and being mentally prepared. Only 25 percent is execution. If you know more than the other player about the match…you will usually win. I can show you plenty about Rog. But never say i can’t or I’m not good enough. Normally its i don’t practice enough or play enough or train hard enough. In fact, the reason why robin and I were getting good because we knew what to do and what not to do in a match and how to punish certain things. Execution and combos come later. But execution btw two mentally prepared players normally does determine whos better. In fact I could have won C3 if i hadn’t fucked up one move lol. Thats what makes sf4 so good. If you just make one mistake…it could cost u the match/

You need to take into account things like…am I in the corner and stuff like that. In the corner you want the second hit to wiff so the last one will connect. I’ll show you what I’m talking about later.

i can get it off pretty good with the pad, but still need work on the stick. the trick is the headbutt is done with ub+hp and hold ub, which charges the ultra or super. then you land, f, b, f. missed headbutts explains why you see rog players jump back from crouch combo and hp lol.
