Vizios are actually manufactured in the same factories as LGs. They’re pretty good values. Now Westinghouse, WTF is with that shit. Stick to fridges and freezers, srsly…
@Shiki- Do you need a monitor with a TV tuner? If not, lots of the 22"-24" ACER/ASUS monitors are great. Plus the ACER monitors are packed with a VGA, DVI, and HDMI cable, so you don’t have to purchase extra wires. This one’s great at it’s price, plus you can pick it up at Target.
You need to work on your critical reading skills. Shiki is the one trying to get a tv.
SCRUB.
Come to richmond soon?
Most likely - need to train for the tourney this Saturday, I could use some (and miss the) good ol’ Richmond comp. Don’t you guys have a Thursday night thing where you guys get shitfaced and play? As long as I don’t have to watch any anime…
Corey answer your damn phone.
that doesn’t mean shit. i have a lg and my roommate has a vizio. the difference is incredible.
Image quality wise, yes the difference is staggering. But that difference may cause input lag, which is what I think he is looking for. Though LG’s also have a pretty good rep for low input lag, but it again depends on if Shiki wants the TV inputs or just HDMI/VGA.
Man, I’ve been gone for a while.
Something happening Friday? I’d hate to drive down there for no reason.
You’re better off with the ASUS then a Vizio but that ASUS model is only $130 for a reason. If your trying to spend under $200 i would go with this. I’ve played SF on this model with no noticeable lag and it has HDMI inputs plus it’s bigger than 19".
Also, Battle Fantasia is ass! Stick to BB or GG if you want to play an ARC System game.
Monitors with just DVI work fine as I have DVI->HDMI cables to use, and I could pick up a Y-splitter 3.5mm->RCA adapter for little more for sound on some cheapy portable usb speakers. Of course, things with HDMI would simplify that, and the ultimate would be a TV so then I could hook in component things as well (AKA TvC and any PS2 thing). But it’s not a must or even a requirement, since the club seems to be mostly playing current gen stuff. But hey, it’d be a nice perk. :b
So the general consensus i’ve heard so far is Vizio is trash, and aim for a slightly more expensive Asus/Acer monitor. Ok~

GRIP & SIP.
Just a reminder (again)! Minus Corey who’s gonna be lame and miss out on this shit - $100 extra for first place in SSFIV and events all day. Get shitty faced afterwards and have a ball.
Is this blowjob advice?
Strange matter today, all you kids come out.
Might come. Motherfreaking hot outside and I have no A/C, though. Rawr…

I was being sarcastic about Battle Fantasia.
(Even though I secretly desire people played it more…)
