3rd strike is NOT fixed. It was working for a little bit, then it just slowly started getting worse.
1p side stick still fucks up, and it’s still devouring quarters.

I got a spare Sanwa JLF-P-5 actuator if you need one for the 3s cab. If the 4-way microswitch pcb isnt defective, i think it’s either the actuator not hitting, or a warped restrictor gate.
Happ sticks don’t have restrictor gates.
On another note, I’m gonna be up at SM today after the USA Ghana match is over.
When is that? I don’t give a fuck about soccer so that doesn’t give me a time frame.

Hey I appreciate the hustle on that repair but now 1p can’t jump… like at all. Also sometimes moving 2p joystick to the right causes 1p to short kick. Just think about that for a second. I know SM is just a lowly bar arcade (totally lame I know :rolleyes:) but how much dough are we talking to put sanwa parts in the 3s cab? I’d be willing to throw down, 3s is fucking worth it.

Doesn’t really sound that bad to me… also I admit I don’t know much about sticks but if the standard life expectancy of those sticks would be 6 months then wouldn’t it be much longer at SM where that machine is not going to get too much action. Or if suddenly the popularity of that machine skyrockets (as a result of awesome sanwa parts) then whoever is getting the payoff has the incentive to maintain the machine. And wouldn’t a worn ass sanwa stick play better than what we have in there now?

Well if nobody thinks its a good idea maybe go for Seimitsu? There’s got to be a better way, someone could give 1p a hard time using a power glove shoved sideways up their ass.
Talked to robin today. To mount the sanwa parts or seimitsu would require more modification done to the cab itself. I think robin is doing the right thing by keeping cost low and leaving somewhat useful sticks as long as 1p side gets fixed and the coin problem resolved.
You never show up anyway so that point is moot.
