I used to live in RI before moving out to LA 11 yrs ago.
What ever happened to DG’s arcade in Warwick. I use to spend mad time over there playing SF2 and MK2 in the early 90’s.
I still got much luv for RI. I just can’t deal with those winters anymore.

the guy who owned it got older and gave it to his coke head son who fucked it up and he ended up with it again but town fair tire bought the building

dg’s must have closed right after u moved cause they closed the end of 95 if i remember right

If I remember correctly there was a little arcade in the Rhode Island & Warwick mall.

the ri mall one is closed i worked there for 2 years and yeah tilt is still open but no there is no 3s
last time i went to tilt, which was probably 8 months ago i didn’t see any cvs2 machines all i saw for 2d fighters was mvc2. maybe i missed it. hopefully they have one. i’ll probably go pretty soon once i train a bit more. i don’t know of anywhere that has 3s
i probably should’ve went tonight seeing as its friday and all. a little busy today

Tilt now has MvC2, CvS2, TTT,(lol), MvC1(lol), SC2(lol), 2 Tekken 5(yesss!) Gavin stop hatin! you Devil Jin player you, No GGXX#(WTF)! We def. need a 3rd S. cab.
Don’t be scared to play, even if nobody is on the machine. chances are I’ll check it out if I see some one playin. As far as people labeling you… I think n8 said it best…

haha, i can hate all i want. F@#$ing 3d fighters arn’t as difficult to play as 2d IMO. Plus it takes alot more skill to play 2d. anyways, yeah a bunch of guys from the woonsocket area wanted a session going today i think. It might be at my house or their’s. 2D FIGHTING ONLYYY!!! and by 2d i mean cvs2,3s, and SF. Mostly cvs2 i think tonight tho. Startin to understand the game alot better. Hey shankar, what ever happened with that cvs2 tourney?

i didn’t get to go to tilt today, but i got my first taste of human comp. i went to my friends asian shop and played 3s and mvc2. it was cool but i have to break some of my habits like jumping in repetedly with my makoto. also i kept getting too nervous to do the karakusa.
I’ll run a tourney whenever you guys want. CvS2 tourney on Sundayfeb. 27th. if people will catually show up. post up if you(and I mean all of you) want to compete in a CvS2 tourney.
of course! do it. i’ll try my best to do decent. at least i’ll learn

t5 regionals tomorrow. i guess this will be a good opportunity to play tekken 5 for the first time
t5 is out on console… sessions at my house starting now at least until ralph gets a ps2! GGXX, T5, etc. always monday, just drop in any time or call. tuesday is good too, but sessions can’t go past like 8pm cause i work the next day at 3am.
you guys could still come to my house if u want to bring ps2’s i got 2 tvs and plenty of room
