the tourny was meh. . . . .the one match rule was fucking gay cuz im pretty sure were in the USA and not japan as shankar would say. And that dude keep shutting off the machines, who the hell cares if someone has to pay, better than waiting for the machine to boot up and having both people pay :mad: . Man that tourny was bullshit, how did they even make the brackets? It was like all the good people were stacked so they eliminated each other in the first rounds, and the top bracket was full of the weaker players. Freaking Jit got third and bruce and moeun got 4th and 6th. MONTH GOT 5TH ?!??!!?!?!?!?!? WTH, seriously someone else needs to host the tourny. I didn’t like it one bit, matches after were good though, thats about it.

dude stacy is new to runnin tourneys. She said Jason told her to run them single match until the finals 3/5. Tilt send Jason to CT and didn’t care about the actual runin of the ish. We’ll see on the 7th how Jason runs the tourney.

I agree with henry that single elimination was not the normal tournaments rules in the states, and i would have liked to have seen best of 3 in the first rounds.
Tilt never has tournies :lame: (few exceptions), so this was a step in the right directions, props to stax, the dude with the cat ears, all of tilt staff, management, etc… for making it happen. (i sux with names, eh?) I bet you all learned a few things about runnin ish today… :karate:
I’m looking foward to the 7th and 8th, and BTW, we plan on video capturing on the 8th, also if anyone has a vid cam they can bring on the 7th or 8th PLEASE DO! :tup:

Steve here…the tournment was ok (needed to be ran a lil better) but hey i’m just glad they finally held one, and over time they will learn there mistakes and how to correct them through our thoughts.
Good Shit finaly seeing everyone again (Mouen,james,shankar,brandon,nate,dwayne) and everyone else haven’t played with you guys in a min.
Games were fun to watch and prop to bruce for helping me out with my steve…and for james for helping with Magz infinite(practice today…shits still not coming along): :sad: :sad

now i didn’t show up to the tourney till late, but can anyone tell me if the brackets were random? or was it picked out? either way u know, when u have a tournament, it doesn’t matter whose on which side of the brackets. its the best man wins. Even if it’s scrubs vs scrubs and elites vs elites, it shouldn’t matter.
Besides, next tourney will probably run better becuz we’re just getting our feet wet at Tilt with the tourney scene.
Well not exactly. The way the bracket was placed was that all elites were on the bottom and scrubs were atop. One of the scrubs got 3rd, so that technically means he can beat anyone that finished 4th and down.
And plus it’s a new game and with 2 months since it came out some people had trouble with other characters due to new moves and such.
If bruce didn’t beat out moeun, I’m 100% sure Moeun would of finished top 2 cuz he can take mikeayl’s baek out, but no one else could.

there just about people there just about everyday, good people. but friday is a safe bet to be at tilt, since everyone will prolly be there.

i have halo 1, but i can’t get past the fourth stage and so i just stoped playing. i only bought the game because of its reputation. :pleased: as for halo 2, me buying halo 1 was mainly for the warm up for halo 2, but i never got around to buying the game (and not anytime soon i’m afraid).
i do have xbox live though for like ninja gaiden, ggxx, re outbreak (ps2), etc. my gamer tag is always “megetta.” tom, henry, and kun play halo 2. if you want, i can bring you up in a conversation or something and let them know you are interested in playing. :karate:
