We have a new venue names “the Gamers network” and they are having a Marvel 3 tournament who would be interested in coming over and participating
the owner wants a good number before anything gets set in stone
Actually, as far as the gamers network goes. We’re thinking of doing a bi-weekly event ala: Wednesday night fights, but probably over the weekend. The place is super legit. Lots of systems, some sick atmosphere and tons to do, they’ve even got a projection room. We’d be setting up a commentary and streaming booth as well if we can garner enough attention and support. The place stays open from friday -sunday 24 hours. So i’m thinking we could get it going in the evening on saturday or so and just tear it up as long as we can. We’ll be doing Marvel and SSF4 to start with. There is also room to do other games as well. If any of you would be interested in something like this, please reply in this thread or PM me. This is for the people who live too far from WNF and want to get their hands dirty on some consistent fights.
I know I’d be willing to come down from Stockton. I’m sure a few others wouldn’t mind that road trip at all. Disc at East La Loma park durring the day, then Marvel at night, sounds like a full fun day to me!!!

Dude, this place is sick as hell. I’m going to be putting out the word for it. Over the weekend the dude’s open from friday at noon to 1am on monday morning. If you’re in the area it’s hella chill dude. You oughta come check it out. General rate is like 4 bucks an hour and i’ve tested the tv’s all like 32-42 inch Flat screens, No noticeable lag at all, not to mention the projector screens man. It’s a perfect spot for just kickin it with some friends willin to get down on marvel or SSF4.
Oh wow, I was just gonna post something on here about how I was planning on reviving the Modesto Mayhem series in a few weeks but it looks like you guys already have it covered haha. The new venue sounds awesome but where is it? Address please? 
I’ve gotta say though, the $4 an hour thing (although reasonably priced) is more than most cheap ass gamers like myself can afford lol. I may still be starting up tournaments at Kriers again anyway for those interested (which is $1 a day) and i’ll stay in touch with you guys to make sure that tournament dates don’t conflict if I do. Kriers closes at 7pm which isn’t exactly ideal and it doesn’t have systems which can be used which also sucks, but the fact that it’s cheaper may appeal to some people.
On another note, NewTypeSEED (the guy who I co-hosted all the old Modesto Mayhem tournaments with) is gonna be back in a few weeks so if you guys are doing something during that time frame let us know.
Don’t trip man, I talked with the owner and he really hooked us up. 6 dollars a head for ALL NIGHT! Super sick:)

I went to the spot this past sat. It was a kool fun experience … I live in los banos so its an hr drive for me bt I dnt mind the drive wen its a kool layback place …
Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick. lol. I didn’t even know you played games besides smash, granted I hardly do myself. lol. But we should hook up and play someday, or at one of these tournaments or just at that place in general. lol.
