I’m very interested in how this is gonna turn out. I watched the mutant melee video from an earlier post. Did Ubisoft make that? Was it even remotely possible to take the game seriously? Because it didn’t look too bad.

Anyway, I guess this isn’t going to play like the original in regards to 1v1 fighting. So, in conclusion: fuck this game.
While they say it’s not based on any particular iteration of the turtles I hope it’s the older ones. The newer shows have had smaller casts in general, and combining Krang and Shredder into one character really was dumb to me. (I mean sure it explains how Shredder could be around in feudal japan, but whatever)
I just hope for some of the nice oldies that never really came back in the newer versions in similar ways, or at all. Rat King, Leatherhead, Baxter Stockman would be the ones I’m most hopeful for.
If it’s a Smash clone, I’ll be all over it.
Fuck the haters, but I LIKE Brawl, thank you. I disliked tripping, true, but it wasn’t enough to make me HATE the game. I just dealt with it and kept playing.
Although, I’m calling it now: 64 had the Polygons, Melee got Wireframes, Brawl has the Alloys, and TMNT will get… the Foot for any modes like ‘Multi-Man Brawl’.

well considering that this game isn’t based off of any era, movie, tv show in general…that means anything can be up for grabs and can be pulled into this game so long as it somehow relates to the turtles. Go Ninja Go Ninja rap as a background track? 99.9% chance of no…BUT it could happen lol. Kevin Nash Super Shredder? fuckin awesome. OG Phillip Banks Shredder? Damn straight!
I mean basically it’s as Ubisoft stated and I actually believe this is probably the best way to go…In order for this game to be successful it has to come out on it’s own merits. There’s no movie backing it and it’s not based on any of the shows in particular so they should have plenty of time to work on stuff without some fat ass conglomerate breathing down their necks and telling them to get it done. They should throw in those rock military guys from the other dimension that showed up in the OG series.
The rock military guys would be awesome. I’d also love it if they threw in Leatherhead and the alt outfits the turtles had when they were wrestling in Dimension X.
Might as well throw in that purple goddess lady from that arc too. Just throw everyone they can in and sort out the mess through testing (or put it snapbacks and don’t XP).
